Place Keeper

Greased Lightning

Greased Lighting

Grease

Known as Grease to her friends, she was the first person recruited by the Rascals. She is a true believer and does her level best to be a true hero. She also is a terribly sexist manizer. She is known to hit on anything even vaguely male-like.

Power Set

Grease is a speedster and regenerator. She does everything fast. She also can generate lightning, but only while she is running. She has a bit of a glass jaw, but she can apparently bounce back from a great deal of punishment.

Grifter

Grifter

Grifter

Not much is known about Grifter currently. She has a number of different outfits that all are basically the same configuration. Body armor, gas mask, and trench coat. She has different versions depending on what she needs to do on a given mission. She helped found the Rascals. She claims to be the daughter of Wonder Guy, but he isn't willing to admit it.

Power Set

She has no known powers. She would describe herself as "Just a shmoe with a bow".

Jack Cooper

Jack Cooper

aka Jack Trades

Jack Trades

aka Adam Angel

Adam Angel

Jack Cooper is from 'Normal Earth'. He is a normal human who happened to have the exact same name as the Anti-Christ from Reverse Sexual Morality Super Hero World. So when the Diablo Society tried to summon the banished Anti-Christ back so they could rule the world and allow demons to overrun the planet, they instead summoned Jack Cooper.

When he arrived he discovered he had COSMIC POWER... except... his power level was the lowest possible. So while he can use every possible super power it is at the weakest possible level. Jack was told that 'displaced' people weren't exactly uncommon, so he was shunted off to a government run program to give him a new life on his new world.

While lying on his bed in his motel room, Jack learned he could shape change, but only into one other form. That form was that of a baby faced angel. He came up with a plan. He would live a dual life. The angel would be a total slut and fuck anything that moved, where as Jack would live a 'normal' life. This resulted in jack suffering from Janus syndrome and thus split into two different personalities with two different power sets.

Power Sets

ADAM ANGEL

Adam Angel has the ability to grant any power he wants to himself or others, but at a minimal level. He has discovered that if he is enhancing someone else's already existing powers, his abilities work much more effectively. He might be able to slightly increase someone's strength, but if someone is already naturally strong, he can double or even quadruple their inherent strength. He is also limited by how many people he can enhance at a time.

He has discovered that magical items bound to a person seems to be a grey area. He can enhance the owner of a magic weapon, and therefore the weapon as well, but he cannot act on the weapon itself.  Otherwise, he cannot effect inanimate objects at all. The target of his enhancement or buffing must be alive.

JACK TRADES

Jack Cooper goes by the name of Jack Trades when he is going about his job as a 'bill collector' for the local Mafia. His power set seems to be the ability to enhance objects. If an object has an in built ability, he can multiply that ability by a factor of two or four, but he doesn't seem to be able to have the ability to just give any ability he wants to an object. He seems limited by what the object can do naturally, then he can improve upon that. A battery could pump out a bunch of lightning, but he couldn't do it with a stick.

Jack Trades also seems to have techopathy. His ability to deal with computers and anything that has bluetooth or wifi connections is borderline magic, however he seems to be limited in his ability to use the cellphone network. This is because the governments of reverse super world have been screwed over by cell phone networks in the past and have put in many, many, MANY safeguards to shut down techopathic individuals who attempt cell phone shenanigans. His ability to use bluetooth and wifi does not give him unnatural control over the object in question. He cannot make it do anything it normally couldn't do, but if he can overcome the inherent security of the object and 'hack' it, he can manipulate it quite easily.

He also has telekinetic power over objects, but only objects that he has covered in a red aura. he cannot just lance the aura out over range, but must touch the item in question. However, that aura covered item can touch another object and then transfer to the new item. He has tried to transfer the aura through the floor, but apparently it is too 'big'. The limit of what he can hit with his aura seems to be limited to man-sized, but he hasn't pushed it to the limit, so he isn't sure what the upper limit is. He does know that an entire building is right out. He has also discovered that attempting to project his aura over wifi or bluetooth doesn't work. He can put his aura of object control over a coin, then throw the coin at a computer and have the aura transfer to the computer that way, but he cannot just directly project his aura onto a computer, even if he has logged into it via wifi.

Lastly, Jack seems to be able to imitate any sort of technological 'sensor', be it just light, radio signals, or pretending to be an MRI.

Personalities

Adam Angel is happy, cheerful, and optimistic and the polar opposite to the dour, serious, and cynical Jack Trades.

Adam is horny as hell, but doesn't take physical relationships very seriously. He just likes 'making love'. Alas, he ironically doesn't understand relationships as well as he thinks he does. He thinks of having sex like a handshake, it's just polite. He also has no problem lying, as long as the lie saves someone's feelings. He is rather short sighted and has very low tolerance for stress. He wants to be a hero and save lives, but rarely plans ahead. However, he does have a much better, if superficial, understanding of people than Jack. He will often comment on Jack's life, giving advice on the best way to handle someone. However, ironically, Adam is only good at manipulating people.

Jack Trades sees the worst in people, but still likes hanging out with them. He enjoys drinking, in moderation, smoking, and gambling. He is a bit of a work-a-holic and apparently used to work for the mafia in 'normal world' as a bill collector. He has since found this world's version of the mafia he used to work for. He has restarted the money laundering scam that was the collection agency he ran in his old world.

Myrtle Fields

Myrtle Fields

aka Ivy

Ivy

Ivy came to Empire City to try to make it as a cape. She has been getting by on a combination of government funding and gumption. She really wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and was in the apartment next door to Jack.

Due to a miscalculation on Jack's part, Adam teleported into Ivy's apartment by accident and due to a misunderstanding, had "relations" with Adam. However, she then went next door to ask Jack out on a date. She and Jack hit it off on their date, however, in order to stay in Empire City, Adam arranged to get her a job with the Rascals. So now she is a teammate with Adam, but dating Jack.

Power Set

Ivy has plant based powers and is strongest in direct sunlight. Unfortunately sunlight has a special quality that cannot just be duplicated with full spectrum light, so she is fairly weak most of the time. She is also heavily dependent on water and needs to drink constantly. If she goes more than an hour without water, she starts to dry out and lose her powers. She also has a weakness to heat and fire.

Full hydrated and in direct sunlight, however, she can grow to over twenty feet tall and is an absolute monster, possibly able to go toe to toe with Sass herself, although Sass is a better fighter over all. Ivy also can control plants, making the grow and grasp targets of her choosing. In her element, she is a nightmare to fight. Dried out in the middle of the night, she's fairly helpless. When Ivy dries out, her hair turns brown and her over all body shrinks, so she frequently cuts her hair short when she is going around as Myrtle, and lets it grown long when she re-hydrates into Ivy.

Still, this has earned her a seat on the Rascal's "bench" where they pull her out as the situation warrants. Currently she is assigned to day time patrols in the Rascal's territory.

Sass

Sass

Sass

Sass is the leader of the group known as The Rascals. She is one of the children of All-Star, but not very close to her mother due to the relationship between All-Star and Sass's father. When Sass's dad died while All-Star was off on a mission, Sass cut her ties with her mom and started her own career as a Cape.

She was a member of a team for a short period, but after the last mission ended in disaster, Sass left to form her own team, the Rascals. She joined up with Grifter as the founding member and their first recruit was Greased Lightning.

Power Set

Sass is in the top 100 strongest people on the planet, as well as incredibly tough. And that's it. She's a bit faster than most, but her two powers is the ability to take a hit and punch really hard. To round herself out, she has learned some martial arts as well as prated various forms of mental disciple to resist mental attacks. There is nothing fancy about Sass, but there really doesn't half to be. There are few things she cannot break when she punches it and it is very difficult to take her out.

Personality wise, she wants to be the true blue hero, and nothing like her mother. She cares about people, keeps her word, tries not to swear, and because of all this has some serious repressed issues that she works out with Adam Angel.

Her driving goal is to make the number one team in the world, so she can shove it in her mother's face. This obsession causes her to take risks she knows she shouldn't, both with her life and others.

The Golden Knight

The Golden Knight

The Golden Knight

Known as Goldie to her teammates, not much is known about the Golden Knight. She apparently was born with a high monad level, but never manifested any powers. Failing to go "meta", she vowed to reach her full potential and traveled the world looking for a solution. She found herself drawn to Japan where she wandered into the mountains and got lost in some mists until she found her mentor. A strange reclusive man who forged magical equipment and selected worthy people to bind said magical equipment too. Having proved herself to him and worthy of his gifts, she then took the oath to go seek out and destroy any magical evil in this world, specifically demons, but undead, necromancers, and anyone who abuses magic is fair game. An oath she carries out like a fanatic zealot.

Power Set

She has a set of golden armor that allows her to fly and tank like nobody's business. She also has a magic sword called Shishu. It is implied Shishu is somewhat intelligent, but it is unclear exactly what the situation is. It is possible it is only possessed by a spirit. it also, apparently, "eats" magic. The Golden Knight takes great glee in feeding her sword anything magical she can find.

Wanderer

Wanderer

Wanderer

Wanderer is a psychic alien. Not much is known about her at this time.

Power Set

She is shown to have telepathy, the ability to mind control people, mental blasts to stun people, and teleport.

------Villains-------

Place Keeper

Dr. Brown

Dr. Brown

Dr Brown

Yeah, if it isn't blatantly obvious, she is up to some shady shit. She is the team psychologist for The Caretakers as well as a therapist who works for WASP of the US of A when dealing with oddball cases. She is currently Jack Cooper's therapist and pulling out her hair trying to figure out why he is so nuts. Who is she working for and what she wants Jack for, we don't know yet.

Toady Troll

Well, I tried that new AI generated image thing. When I put in toady troll, I got this.

Toady Troll

This is my head cannon now.

Ahem.

One of the most powerful villainesses in Empire City, Toady Troll is Damn Tough and very strong. And that's about it. She is known to grow back from massive amounts of physical damage, is damn hard to injure, and immune to most physical, and mental attacks. Oddly enough, she is just stubborn as hell and able to shrug off most mental attacks by sheer force of will. She is, in every sense of the word, a tank. The only method that seems to work on her is to stun lock her until she drops. Even then you only got a few hours until she recovers. No tricks here. If you want to beat her, you need to just flat out overpower her.

Her backstory is rather simple. She awakened, she turned into a giant hulking monster. People made fun of her. She kicked ass. She's been around for decades and her more famous battles were with the Incredible Bulk. Unlike the bulk, Toady Troll seems to be ageless. She actually seems to stay in prison more because it's easier than breaking out constantly. Occasionally another super villain will need a strong thug and they will break Toady out.

------WASP Agents------

Place Keeper

Agent Theta (Grey-Indigo-Alpha)

Agent Theta

Agent Theta

There are those people who believe in a cause so strongly, that they become obsessed with fulfilling their mission. For example, Simon Bolivar, who played such a key roll in gaining Venezuelan independence they named their currency after him. There are some who take things way too far. For example, any German gestapo agent during world war two.

Then there is Agent Theta.

It is said when she was born, the doctor had run out of clean blankets, so he wrapped her up in the American Flag. It is said people gain a sense of patriotism from their personal experiences and cultural upbringing. What sort of warped funhouse mirror of a life Agent Theta must have lived to be turned into the ultra-patriot she grew up to be is unknown. Or rather, classified.

She was only a baby when the Anti-Christ war began. She grew up in the aftermath and saw first hand the suffering it caused to people she loved. At the age of 15 she discovered her knack for super-science and signed up to become a member of WASP. She quickly proved herself as a stalwart and capable agent. She was the youngest agent to become a Woman in Grey and has steadily worked her way up the ranks. There is talk of her getting promoted to becoming one of the Women In White, but people are unsure if that is because she earned it, or if the powers that be want to promote her to a position where she can be less... enthusiastic.

Of course, being a true patriot has its downside. There is a difference between being loyal to WASP, loyal to the US Government, or loyal to the people currently running the government. Agent Theta is loyal to AMERICA. America First, Last, and ONLY AMERICA. This has earned her some enemies.

Power Set

Agent Theta is one of the top agents for WASP with the entire Empire City set as her jurisdiction. She has authority over just about any Agent of Grey rank, and everyone of black. She can command the entire resources of WASP in the city, but rarely brings in more than the bare minimum, because you never know when you are trying to put out one fire, if another will pop up.

She is outfitted in a suit of body armor that augments her limited personal strength. She isn't the toughest, the strongest, or the fastest, but she is above average in most ways, highly resistant to mental attacks, and with her suit augmenting her, is able to go toe to toe with most metas causing problems.

However, her true strength is in her keen intellect and uncompromising attitude. She has earned the respect of many, even as she offends people and steps on toes. Lover her, hate her, people know where she stands and she has the respect of enemies and allies alike.

She also is a master tactician. She rarely goes in swinging, instead sending in waves of SePU or black clearance agents to test the enemy and determine their weakness. She is not above sacrificing pawns to capture the enemy queen. When she determines the best way to defeat her enemy, she calls in exactly what she needs for a surgical strike to end the conflict as quickly as possible.

She avoids collateral damage, but if the danger is great enough, she is more then willing to attack an  enemy using civilians as shields. It is regrettable that innocent lives would be lost, but she consoles herself with the knowledge that the death toll would have been much higher if she wasn't willing to do whatever it takes to win the day.

RSM has so few actual stories, this one was pretty fun to read up to current chapter, always want a longer story but this one is getting updated regularly so hopes are high. Any complaints I would normal have, such as a lack of worldbuilding, one-dimensional characters, stilted interactions or the like haven't had a chance to become apparent and in only a few chapters you already have some idea of the world at large. My only real complaint would be that the bimbo talk he fakes out is a little overdone but then again, I knew a girl who told me if she wasn't a christian she'd want to be catholic so maybe it's not too much? So regardless of how much one or two of the interactions irked me it's still well within the realm of possibility (which also irks me) so I can't really ding the story for it. Also had another girl tell me she didn't like ozzy osbourne but black sabbath was one of her favorite bands.... I have no faith in humanity.

Probably one of the best Reverse s*xual morality story you ever seen. World building is highly realistic, the fact "female is a strong s*x" explained very believable. Good inner personality conflict, grimdark world with a nice wrap. I am so hyped for more!

A pretty interesting spin on the "Teleported in a world of reverse morals" ideea.

Characters are round, and have their own motivation, and it's also interesting in how it explores the differnfes that would have cause the soceictal shift.

    Status: ch 53

Updated review as of chapter 53: Adam is all over the place. Sometimes he is really sensitive and cries for not reason and acts like a girl then on other occasions he is dominant and self confident. Janus syndrome is supposed to make the adam persona be good like an angel so that means he should be pure which he most definitely is not.

This story has a lot of potential. I think it might just be the single best reversed s*xual morality/reversed world story out there due to the fact that how the author set up the Janus Syndrome. This allows to have an MC that dominates girls in the form of Jack and a submissive MC that the girls go nutz trying to take advantage of in the form of Angel. Essentially it allows the author to satisfy both audiences. Hopefully the author realizes this and uses to its full potential (which I think he is doing).

My favorite thing about this story is Angel playing the angle of the innocent, himbo angel persona. It is very entertaining to read and a new angle to explore, fresh ground so to speak, since there aren't that many reversed s*xual morality stories were the MC gets bottomed or dominated by women. Usually the MC ends up toping in these kinds of stories and we don't get to see the girls aggressive side. My personal hope is to see more scenes like the toady one were villains attempt to get their way with angel.
