If you read the synopsis and are unconvinced there's not much else to say... You are getting yourself into a great wuxia comedy that is hard to let go once you start. If you're not into wuxia, no problem, neither am I XD

So basically a chuuni guy gets isekaid to a cultivation world, he doesn't want to personally fulfil the criteria to get back home but does desperately want to return. What do? Obviously he uses his knowledge of cultivation webnovels and a few OP cheats granted by the Goddess™ to sh*t all over the wuxianxian genre. You will not find your typical fake-mana fisticuffs and men arguing over who has the prettiest face here!
The first chapter is really damn long and the weird argument between the author and narrator at the start of chapter 2 was just... pointless imo. It nearly stopped me reading this series as I began to expect that sort of thing throughout the story, but thankfully it was a one-off. If you make it to chapter 3 then you should find the rest to be pretty great.

Warning: This is a quasi-harem and a Siscon.
Way Way WAY too much talk about his 'favorite' little sister.
Way way way too many women keep getting attracted to the supposedly 'ugly' MC
And if you can tolerate that.... it's slow..... with an overpowered protagonist....

Ok, chapter 2 starts really weird and doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. But hang in there, the story really kicks up once you reach chapter 3 and beyond, though it has a slow build up it has been so much fun to follow these characters growth, from the main character to side characters, everyone seems to get so much attention that it feels great to read. The world building has been interesting and makes you want to know more about every other place mentioned, and so far every arc has been very well written and enganging. It's one of those stories where I'm actually sad that there is no manga/anime version of it.

One of the funniest parody I had read. It is not flawless but it is worthy of your time to read the MC and his family adventure

tl;dr that I only wrote so I could make jokes: Cat (me) can NOT have a little harem as a treat. Harem makes the cat sick (I dislike harem to the extent that removing the E makes no difference). Cat apparently has no sense of smell (does not read reviews) so they can't just avoid the harem.
I should get back into the habit of reading the reviews. If I had, I'd know this novel's harem qualities right from the get-go and wouldn't have persisted 30 more chapters.
Actually, no. Series should be upfront with what they're giving you. That's what should happen from now on.
The first 29 chapters were great. I sometimes read while sleep-deprived, and it's been a few days, so I honestly don't remember what made me like them. But I did like those first 29 chapters.
Then... [love interest]'s love interest-ness was revealed. Like when you introduce a third pet to the family and none of them get along anymore. Suddenly I couldn't understand any of the humor. I didn't know it was humor, until someone yelled in the comments and someone else yelled back that it was supposed to be funny, duh.
I stopped reading after Chapter 62's first two lines. At that point it was clear that the main character would be trampled like a doormat and that was not what I came here for. The synopsis made me assume that our main character wasn't gonna take any of this s#!t (if he still wants to go home, he must not want to put up with transmigration, right?) but nope, he let his room get trashed and thought himself unreasonable for even being shocked.

Honestly, I like this novel. The calm minded MC who detest harem, a decent story, developing characters, with a little bit of fresh comedy, and many more. But, it's start going downhill when MC doing his mission at Jade Sect. Too many forced side-story/comedy, that the main plot is not progressing at all. There's sometimes when the main story is only around 0-20% of the whole chapter, even when the story at the climax of an arc. When the MC in the middle of discussing something serius with others according to main story, sometimes he just went off conversing privately/secretly with his companion for the whole chapters, and the only talking about something useless that doesn't really has a connection with the main story. The main story and other related characters just wait a whole chapters for the MC to get back to the story. Usually I skipped that part, but the part that I skipped is more than the part that I actually read. I don't know if it's get better after that tho.

Great story so far.
Ever read a story with those MC with constant popping up of random evil young masters, kingdom toppling beauties in danger, pretty senior sisters and so on? This is so different.
It's a comedy where a guy who's read wuxia stories like those gets dragged into one and tries to avoid all the plot twists. Other than the harem route which he's slowly getting dragged into, it seems to be working so far.
You know that moment where you're reading a story and you're like "this guy is gonna be a main character" or "this is a harem candidate"? Well in this story, the MC does this thing where he's all like "sh*t, that guy has the main character aura. Bet she's gonna be a harem candidate.... ". It's really funny because most of the time it's also true.
Have to say, this writer is a genius. It almost feels like he's getting rid of all my frustrations with the cliche story lines I keep seen in all the stories. Great read.
