Aila has been sick for most of her life, but near the moment of her death, a gray mist filled her room, and she disappeared from Earth altogether.

Aila appears in a ruin upon Imera, the living planet, a world where people can channel the natural elements of the world around them.

Her disease is expelled a bit at a time, while she slowly comes to understand she is far from Earth, and now healthy. Although she misses her loving parents, she doesn't want to go home only to die before she's lived her life.

Note - This is a complete rewrite of my original story Ascension (tentative title), and I have corrected some problems with the original, as well as the flow. The original will stay in place as a reference.
There will be NSFW chapters, however, the girl's love sex will take place much later than it does in the original.
