Covered in blood and surrounded by dead corpses of his mercenary group, Teso is left in a state of shock and fear. Not only has he lost everything he had in this world but now his mind is filling with memories of a life he never lived. In this pathetic state his will to live shuns everything else and he forces his exhausted body to move forwards until he collapses on the outskirts of the emergent city of Dryfall on the edge of the Phoenix Empire.
