Fame! Fortune! Powers! Cookies! You name it, Metas can have it in less than what it takes you to spell their name. You just need a System and bam! You're swinging sky-crappers around and kicking villain (or Hero) asses, with the medias licking your boots and your excessively cringeful name going down on history, for better or for worse.
Oh, but there's a catch. You have to be the lucky one in two thousand.
Lawrence is as far from lucky as one can be. He's no Meta. He can't spit freezing fire from his mouth, summon adorable monstrosities or make people hallucinate with his eyes. He is nothing but a freelance programmer, one whose life has been full of boredom and luck (i.e. lack thereof). He couldn't care less about the world of superpowers, as long as it stay away from his life...
Unfortunately (or not?) for him, that's not going to happen.
Not if the deity watching over him can avoid it. And deities are generally good at avoiding anything.
And so, Lawrence is left with one hell of a nightmare and a power that would put a trouble magnet
to shame. Oh, and, wait! It doesn't end here!
"What in the f*** hell is wrong with this System?!?!?!"
With 15 chapter's in the bag I believe it's certain that this novel is absolutely a gem. Having read this since the first chapter was released I could tell from the beginning that this has great potential but I wished to wait to see if the author would be able to use it. I believe they have and continue to do so with every chapter they put forth. I truly hope the author continues updating this beautiful flourishing novel and I advise anyone reading this review to at least give the novel a chance. I can almost certainly guarantee you won't regret it.
