Ashlock awoke in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree.
A tree that eats people.
And one that grows stronger over time due to a daily sign-in system and cultivation.

Phenomenal, I thought I've outgrown this genre butt somehow you've reignited my passion and reason for why I've binge these types of stories... it was a refreshing experience and it ease my mind away from collage and IRL experience, man you're literally saving lives.

The story's top-notch & original, and the writing's amazing. There's no grammatical errors, the pacing & reading flow are perfect for the story, and the uploads are gonna be consistent now that the author's got himself a contract.
The characters are good, obviously for now the most fleshed out one is the MC. The main side characters are slowly catching up though, all of them with their own motivations.
If you know the author's other books, then you can expect the same, if not higher quality.

A really nice read so far with pretty fleshed out characters. No drop in writing quality as of this chapter and continues to keep me fullr engaged. Give it a read, I guarantee most will like it.

Binged this as fast as I could!! The character interactions, their growth as an individual& a group is the most satisfying thing to read in this. Most importantly you don't have to deal with chinese names in a cultivation-genre novel. The plot is as simple as it gets and that is to survive while getting op, which is quite easy to get behind.

(Book 1) I have always wanted more reincarnated as a tree stories ever since I started reading Tree of Aeons (great story you should read it), and once I found this, I wanted even more stories. You should definitely at least try it out at first, because it's not just your normal tree story! It's plot is as hardy as a trunk wile as wily as a leaf, and if that makes no sense, good cause it made no sense to me once I wrote it. But still you should read it
(Book 2) Okay newer addition to the review....
It's still really good. You should definitely read this, as it is second place for tree novels (Aeon is forever my number 1) and is up there for both LitRPG and cultivation novels I have read. Love the story, characters, and payback. I feel it's missing something, but though I am an avid reader, I am far from being an author. Love the work, keep it up, can't wait for more!

One of the best non-human stories I've ever read. This novel so far has been such a joy to read, the pacing, the writing, the characters, everything molds together really nicely to make something that is truly unique.

Like most of xkarnation's new stories (i like the old ones but they can't compare to the new ones in quality xD), this is so fun to read, managing to make reading of a tree that, well, can't move, so fun and interesting, can't recommend enough so far

What can I say about this great work. It's sort of like tentacle girl but without smut. The main character is stuck in one place and the plot happens around him from his point of view. It's a surprising good read.

Been a while since I read a story that got me hooked like this

Ok so the book is gorgeous so far. Interesting characters, plot. The pace is good even if the MC is a literal tree.
My only concern is that uploading 20 chapters/day is apparently not humanly possible or something smh.
Anyways, let us consume some cultivators huh?
