Grace Pastel is a young girl who lives a cozy life in Jubilife city with her father, and for her, Pokemon battles are just something that she watches on television or online. Entertainment to be seen at a distance. After turning fifteen, she watched as young people her age got ready for their first journey across Sinnoh, all aiming to become the Champion. She usually scoffed at them, wondering how one could throw away a comfortable life in the city to risk their lives in the wild for an unobtainable goal. And yet when she was asked by her father to deliver a package to her mother living two towns over, something clicked in her brain.
Suddenly, she decided that she wanted to be the very best.

This is everything I could ever want in a pokemon fic!! I love the balance of realism in the fic and the characters are nicely developed and fleshed out. I like the pokemon choice as well and the whole story is just really well-written with good grammar. For people who have read Sacrifice and Subjugation and I Want to Travel the World (if you haven't go read those now!), this reminds me of a mix of those but with gay (which makes it 10 times better obviously) !

Just binged this fic. It has a great balance of action, character, drama, and intrigue. There can be a lot to keep track of, but it's all very good so I don't find myself minding. I worry that there will be a lot of chapters focusing on cast gym battles with the expanding cast and that it might get too long, but I'm still totally in for it. The battles are very well written both trainer battles and wild battles, which is a crucial thing to get right. It's got a little bit of everything!

Very wholesome so far. No stupidly overpowered characters, the villains are menacing, worldbuilding is good... Overall a great story!

I wish I could give this a higher rating.
Honestly one of the best stories I've ever read both fan made and published books, the writer really should do the world a favour and make this their career if they haven't already. I am always checking scribble hub for updates on this story, absolutely amazing work, keep it up!

the plot and the battles get only better and better the more you read and I love the word build so much because of the changes that the autor make are very interesting and the word fell very alive because of the interludes that show the views of other people about the main cast and the views of the word and the battles descriptions and the Strategies of the trainers feel very clever

The story is simply fantastic. You will journey across Sinnoh with Grace (our protagonist). In this wonderful story, you will share her joy of first victory, you will share her worries over friendship, you will share her burden of ever increasing responsibilities, and you will struggle and grow with her and her pokemons.
And above all, it makes you want to re-visit your past pokemon games.

This is one of the best fanfic. Way of writing is very intriguing and MC is very relatable. I have read about 33 chapters and I am going to slow down so that I can enjoy it everyday.

Yo what the heck!? I’ve been reading this for a month on RR, never realized it was over here! Do not let the cover fool you friends, this is an unspoken big one for Pokémon fics! Each character is allowed to have their own unique flaws, and they’re a little immature in a way that all teenagers are which is refreshing for Pokémon fics, which seem to love overly mature tweens sometimes. But even if their issues are on the inexperienced side, they try their best to get over or deal with each issue with a level of communication I just love to death!
Also also, immature definitely does not mean dumb, especially not here. Heck, half the main characters have an area of expertise that they’re borderline genius in, and the others have sets of consistent talents. The Pokémon battles rreeeaallyy do not disappoint either, good god. &Nbsp;I adore how each protagonist has their own uniquely good battle style. The Pokémon teams themselves are also very reflecting of each person’s personality, including the nicknames they get. Every set has their own dynamic and even drama. The Pokémon seem less sapient and more alien than humans, but it does not make them any less personable.
