When Maya signed up for her university's LGBT club, she hoped for a sense of community and belonging. A safe place to relate to others who share her experience. Instead, she finds a disheveled young man who asks a few too many questions and drags her into uncharted territory. Juggling transphobic co-workers, an old friend who has been acting strange, and a new guy who constantly keeps her on her toes, can Maya keep her head above water? Or will she crash and burn?

Author's Note
The main characters in this story do not always behave like good people. They also do not speak for me or my views. I hope that's obvious to most people but I thought I would be safe. This account was always about me practicing writing more than anything, and creating and empathizing with flawed characters felt like a good step for growth. If transphobia, internalized or otherwise, is not something you want to read about, then this story may not be for you. I apologize if it dredges up any uncomfortable feelings in anyone, that was not my goal, I promise. Hopefully despite all of that, you enjoy reading my story!
The first 4 chapters are excellent and really capture the trans experience. It's hard to find good t4t stories and representation like this, looking forward to seeing more from you! Great author!!
