        Status: the school infirmary

So if somebody on the street came to you claiming there are lizard people invading and the only way to stop them is to put on a victorian dress and show them your feet... You wold think they are insane,   ignore them or, or at least ask for proof, not our MC. As well as there being magic in this world his mother going to a magic school, still he only finding that sh*t out by chance? When its stated 2 sentences later that she wanted him to go there?!?! And the fact that in 20 minutes of reading there are already 2 instances of the MC surprising everybody with his actions should tell you something about this story. To me its feels like midlescool syndrome.
