A strange person(former gangster) with an even stranger moral compass suddenly wakes up in the MHA world.
He's lost and confused, even more so when his quirk turns him into a strange being...

The mc basically mutates into the Ant King from Solo Leveling.
A surprising good novel who managed to associate 3 elements that at first could seems non soluble : a soul of a gangster from earth (not exactly hero material but not a scum either), beru the ant king from solo leveling for the apparence and quirk only, and "my hero academia" for the world (the MC doesn't even know the manga). Even for someone like me who is not fan of the manga and know just the minimum, the story is interesting. The interaction between the MC and the rest of the protagonist is well fleshed and often comical because of his action as "hero". The MC is non linear and his evolution as a person is well done. The difference of his personality between the beginning and the end of the novel is the reflection of his experience in this new world as well as his interactions with others. My proficiency in english don't allow me to judge the quality of the text itself, but it's seems well beyond some other novel I have already read. I hope this first review would incite those who are undecided at least to try.

The MC is a bug person that can take / copy powers (quirks) by consuming blood, or take in properties of things by eating them (like steel, titanium, etc). Which is an awesome power. Yet, the MC is using it mostly for stupid things. When he defeats the major villain of the mha verse, he just doesn't bother to consume his blood. Because why should he do something intelligent for once? Pretty much everything about this story is equally irksome. The grammar is acceptable, though.

A rather well written fan faction, that takes an original character (the slightly but justifiably very mentally ill gangster), combined with the power and potential of Beru (that king ant from solo leveling who we never got to see truely reach his potential), thrown into the world of my hero acadamia (world of super powers, but practically everyone has them).
A surprisingly good combination, although it leads to a rather op MC who can't really be beaten by anyone who doesn't just straight up copy him. And yet due to a lot of character growth for many different characters, and fairly good slice of life combined with plenty of action and a fair bit of quirk combination and usage, it doesn't really matter? Stakes are kinda low, but it is still enjoyable seeing them be solved with actual planning and thinking, even if a fair few solutions are just to punch the problem away eventually.
Basically I'm saying that characters are rather good, world building is rather good, powers are demonstrated fairly well, but the MC is op, and it is noticeable. He isn't a hero, he does what he wants, but he is going to win eventually. Still a good story if you don't mind that.

So, let me start with that, this story isn't perfect, but what is?
I have read a few fanfics, but this one has everything that makes a good novel, the gramma is very good (in 200+ chapters I saw only a few mistakes, but it doesn't matter). Characters are very well written and presented (I love MC character), the story for the most time is very interesting (There are a few boring arcs like
the last arc with these aliens (here only aliens were boring, the meteor part was cool) and the motive with looking after the medicine was nice but it prolonged and become quite boring at some point
Summarising:
Characters - 5/5
Plot - 4/5
gramma - 5/5
How joyful it was for me - 5/5
