Sayer Thorne was a down-on-his-luck, average guy who just broke up with his girlfriend. Nothing in life seemed to be going his way, until by chance he encountered a mysterious magical book. After accidentally triggering a blood ritual, he is transported to a dark fantasy world occupied by twisted creatures, sinister cults, and evil conspiracies. But instead of his new life being filled with nothing but misery, he meets a young sorceress apprentice and discovers the lighter side of eldritch horror.
The world of this work is simply alive, the characters have intelligent conversations and you really root for the couple, I'm intrigued by whether the protagonist has any role in this world or he's just unlucky enough to fall into a f**ked up world with walks beyond modern knowledge, in either scenario I just can't help but get excited.

It's early days yet, but this story looks very promising. The writing has been both technically proficient, and well plotted. The characters are coherent, and the interactions to this point between the main couple is exactly in line with the promises inherent to the title and the tags. It's a very enjoyable dynamic.
Thus far, the only real flaw is that there isn't more to read! Hopefully the author continues their good work so we get to see this develop properly. I recommend giving it a try.
