Having unexpectedly transmigrated into an immortal world, he found himself a core disciple of a renowned sect.
Yet, Jiang Chen's destiny was to play the part of a villain, fated for calamity. He schemed against the protagonist, shattering his dantian and relegating him to the status of a sect outcast teetering on the edge of expulsion from the mountain. Had it not been for fate's intervention, Jiang Chen would have served as nothing more than a stepping stone for the protagonist's ascent.
Upon recognizing his predicament, a cunning grin spread across Jiang Chen's face.
'Is the protagonist formidable? Undoubtedly!'
'But shall I quiver in terror? Never!'
'For I wield the Immortal Great Villain System!'
'Hold on, there are multiple protagonists?'
"Heh, isn't that even better?" Jiang Chen's chilling laughter echoed through the air, 'As a Great Villain, I shall rise to the pinnacle of infamy and seize my rightful position!'
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, and I believe it's essential for potential readers to understand that the term "villain" in this context does not refer to an evil protagonist like in Reverend Insanity. Rather, it signifies the wealthy antagonist who often serves as a stepping stone for the protagonist, be they good, neutral, or evil.
If you're weary of formulaic stories with plot-armored protagonists who always triumph, this novel provides a revitalizing shift in perspective. The villainous character's ingenious schemes and capacity to outmaneuver the conventional protagonists make for an exhilarating read. Additionally, the protagonists' tribulations contribute an extra layer of excitement. I highly recommend this book to those seeking an original and captivating twist on the classic protagonist-villain dynamic.

I’m writing a review since there are none. I would rate this story 4 stars because to me it’s just that good. Although the villain against protagonist has become a cliche, I like reading them and the writing quality is decent so that gives it 4 stars. I’m not giving it 5 stars because while it’s good it isn’t exactly memorable and you could easily have this story mixed up with similar villain cultivation stories. In the end it’s a good story that I will continue to read.
