Synopsis

You've probably heard this sort of story before.

Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way.

He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villianness at the end.

Not the type of story I'd read personally.

So where do I fit into this?

Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know.

Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.

Curse my life

------
Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing.

This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there are no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making.

Status: ch 124: the girl’s first...

This story is about a girl and her slow healing adventure, no romance, no time skips, no revenge, face-slapping or even having boys fall in love with the MC, no all of that, and I repeat it's just about a girl and her slow-healing adventure, from what you ask? Unfortunately, I'm not going to spoil you on that

What I like about this story:

    • It's hilarious, like for certain chapters I can just laugh and laugh until I got scolded by my mother for that. Rosalia (our MC) has a very boisterous mind, she thinks a lot of interesting and she got sidetrack a lot, her sarcastic comments on some things or just her being her always make me chuckle
    • The character feels real and so does the whole world, each character have their own story, don't ever indiscriminately hate any antagonist character right out of bat (well, some are just downright disgustingly evil), especially those that are close with MC, everyone has sides that they don't show to others, moments they didn't tell others and as readers, we ofc got omniscient views in whatever they are thinking, and boy, make me curious just what story are they hiding
    • It has excellent world-building. The author put a lot of effort into the world-building and I learned several things about the medieval times that I didn't know or it just doesn't get mentioned in other novels set in medieval times, such as pot chambers :D
    • Rosalia often slips into flashback, so smoothly that you didn't realize it's a flashback. It makes her trauma more genuine and engaging to me and be careful as she does slip into flashbacks at moments you didn't expect, it's just so out of nowhere! But that's Rosa for you, a cute little weirdo
      Spoiler

most of the flashbacks leaves me into a sobbing mess

      [collapse]
    • The sad scene is written painfully great, maybe it's just me and my, oh, so sensitive eyes that cry every time that happens, but it always ALWAYS makes me cries. Her grief and her anxiety always strike a chord in me and makes me empathize, and in the end, cries with her

    The flaws:

    • The author already said it in the description and let me tell you the truth, she's right. For some readers who got interested in this story not only because of the interesting summary but also because of the reverse psychology, let me remind you again, it's true and not some tricks. This is my fave novel but even I sometimes find it slow and tedious, not gonna lie.
    • There are no time skips, and I knew this would be a problem for some readers, like for the past 120+ chapters she goes from just being born to only 3 years old. And as you go, the word count will be higher and higher. And you thought, oh, it's ok, the MC will somehow get a lot of adventure despite being 3 years old. Well, the adventure does exist, but a good (most) half of it is just some normal activities such as cooking, making things that most of you could easily DIY at home, and spending time with family. And again, 'slow healing adventure'. But you won't get bored as I said before, our Rosalia thought which is our perspective, drifts a lot
    • The typos and grammar mistakes, especially in the early chapters are COUNTLESS, it gets better, but still... it's pretty bad. So if you one of those readers who can't let past any grammar mistakes, I wouldn't recommend this to you
    • The conversations can get confusing, sometimes you have to read it again to know who is talking which. Sometimes the sentence can also get confusing as well. And
      Spoiler

the talking out-loud habit, maybe it's just me, but I always stuck thinking which part of her monologue that speaks out loud, so I read it again to make sure, even then I couldn't be sure for 100%

      [collapse]
    • This doesn't apply to me, but some readers can get pretty riled up, especially when it's a flashback of her past life as Rosalia, and at early chapters, they say 'they didn't deserve to be parents, ' or 'such an irresponsible and horrible adult' or even 'why does he get comfort and all that but our Rosalia didn't get anything. Let me tell you loud and clear, the parent is young and yes, that didn't excuse all their actions, but they are new to being parents, and they get better as they learn how. You don't need to love them, just gave them a chance. As for the irresponsible adult, I only found one of them, and yeah he's crazy. As for the latter, Rosa always bottles up her feelings, and it can't be helped that most of the feelings are actually from her past life, all those things haven't happened yet, so she is having a problem with the past, not the present. You won't get comfort if you don't tell anyone, they are not a mind reader and not that Rosalia expects them to. And again this could be me just defending them, but I think most people even characters deserve a chance, well, except for the trash of the earth, so gave them a chance, and then you could judge them however you like

I would recommend this story to those who don't mind the confusing feelings, the one who likes the mundane and slow slice-of-life, who loves comedy, the angst, and willing to see the slow but definitely growing character development that is our MC. But to those who want a straight-up adventure, romance, everything that the author mention at disclaimer or some good old clichés, this is not for you. Congratulations, to those who manage to read this looooong biased review. I hope you would give this novel a try or a chance and have a nice day.

This is one of the best reincarnation novels I've read in while. An absolute riot. 10/10 recommend. Don't listen to top review

    Don't listen to Kawaii1234567, TRNRLogan, or Onggho17.

This book main focus is slice of life, so of course the pacing is slow. The book is very good at fleshing out the characters to make it believable enough. Only the twins are toddlers, but everyone else are people of diverse age group. The kids aren't too op that they can solve every problem without an adult either. The narration does get jumpy at times but it's an artistic move that shows the traumatic character's unstable mindset and their unreliable narration. This book is perfect for patient readers or readers who don't read all of the chapters at the same time. You should take the book with a grain of salt.

Truly enjoy reading this story and it's actually my second time reading it.❤️❤️❤️

I really like how the author portray Rosalia's character and how every events that happen connects well with her memories. Also, though I know that in this life time, Rosalia are able to experience a better childhood compare to her other two lifetime, I am hoping that it will actually takes time for her to truly accept her family this lifetime.. Maybe by making Rosalia run away when she is 5 as that is when the main event starts.. Or by becoming someone's student far away from her family.. Hahaha, yes I know I'm being too imaginative for hoping for this, but it's just that I want her to have the chance to properly tell her past to her family and for them to truly understand how hard her life had been for her in two lifetime. But well its just a thought☺️

And, I'll accept any outcome the author decides to do with the story as what the author had done so far is good enough??

I would rate it higher since it's well written and all but... the pacing is atrocious. Every chapter is far too long and wordy. More importantly she's been a toddler for like a hundred chapters at this point.

Also I don't like the sections where we see her previous life. But others do so it's fine. Plus you can skip them and have no real problems.

Love it, the way the author writes Rosalia's thoughts is fun and interesting. Personally, I think too much time was spent on the forest arc though, got a bit boring there.

I love the story so far and the MC Rosalia and her perspective on life and how she is struggling towards keeping herself sane but also making a life for herself. Her grandfather Ronald is honestly one of my favourite characters.

If I had one complaint is that she has been 2 for a while now. I have my limits and suspending disbelief at times but for an ongoing period, I just wish she was slightly older as we are moving along.

The story started with an unloved twin who literally,   her mother forgotten she exist and managed to remember her because the wet nurse took rosalia to her mom's room.

She was born with memories of the other rosalia and her memories from the modern earth.

Her grandpa knows she isnt a normal baby and threatened her in a way.

She died "the other rosa" by being killed by someone she knows who sucks up to tje prince,   her fiance, who fell inlove with her twin.

Judging by the story,   seems like she was stabbed in tje back literally and it was somehow caused/ plotted by tje prince and her twin was the only one who truly cried for her death.. But mind you she literally betrayed rosa who practically took care of her and loved her despite all tje unfairness.

All of this is fine and all...  I can take that.. But in her current life,   how can she just...  Despite thinking like she wont trust them... She literally trusts them and just let them do as they please.  I mean she was goddamn forgotten.  Yet again.

In many occasions too...  And her mom is totally trash..  The premise of the story is good honestly...  But the reason why I made this 1 star is due to so many filler chapters which literally talks about "shopping" "bread" "wheat". So suddenly when there was a hanging arc.... Of supposedly... Discussion...  Confrontation of some sort between her grandpa and rosalia...

Also, the prince who was now yet again her fiance.  After that whole thing of so called mention of plan... To hopefully change her ending with that prince...  It was never mentioned again.  It wasnt even mentioned what that plan was.

In the first place it is stupid.  She is the grandfather of a hero, how canvthe royalty threaten them to marry the prince?  When the grandpa can just saaay "if you force my grand daugther, I am leaving this country and go to the other place" surely the royalty will not let that happen.

Rosa's dad whom she confronted sayinf she doesnt want to be married...  She was just the scape goat cause her goddamn parents doesnt want the sickly twin to be the one...  Anyway...  The point, is, she confronted his dad and the dad can literally talk to the grandpa for help but...  They never did.

    I've wasted my time. Honestly

    I love this book.

Although pacing wise I'd like it faster due to personal preference but the author handles the pacing really well. Author also takes a good amount of time building the characters in a reasonable manner and nothing feels forced or pushed into your face.

Also this one is good at making me cry.

    Highly recommend
