15-year-old Shiki, with his mother dying after his birth, his father missing in the forest, allegedly running away from the grief caused by her death, was left to his adoptive parents. Because of tradition, the girl he liked was marrying another man, and with nothing holding him back and his body screaming for him to leave, he took his equipment and ran away.
What were those blue clouds he was told about? Was his father going there? Did he think they were dangerous and so he went to check on the forest? Was he still with the living?
Shiki, while fighting an animal, fell and hit his head. At that point, my soul entered and I've gotten myself a second chance.
Don't worry old owner, I'll try to make sure you(we) have no regrets(this time).

mc is gonna try to be a white knight to some measure(he is somewhat altruistic), he won't be too unreasonable though. He'll try to be realistic.
I do not promise to finish this story or even post chapters, I'm kinda whimsical and am just doing this for fun so please don't get angry if I end up stopping for some reason.
I'm not sure if I'll make it a harem and include adult scenes. I didn't plan the story ahead of time.
