Chris is an eighteen year old searching for a job in an economy that has been crashing. Eventually, he lands an interview that sounds perfect to him, and he leaps at the chance.

After the rather successful interview, Chris wakes up in a strange world that reminds him of a video game that he used to play as a child, Wizard 101. A world of magic and monsters awaits Chris as he is accepted into the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts by the powerful wizard Merle Ambrose.
