Synopsis

Having lost his parents with no relatives to take care of him and his little sister, Misa was in a dilemma. With no place to live and the inability to get a job, it truly felt like the end until a newspaper carried by the wind struck him with a "too good to be true" advertisement. Cornered and having no other choice but to cling to that little hope, the gamble he took would prove to be the turning point that he and his sister needed. Getting mistaken as a girl at the first day by the rambunctious student council president, what kind of new life will Misa lead in this academy filled with surprises? A slice of life story following Misa and all the mishaps that happen as he gets dragged along by the flow and adjusts to the new changes to his surroundings....and to himself?

MC's behavior is not believable at all. Since almost first chapter everyone around him forces him, pushes him and around and he is like 'ok'.

He/She is absolutely unable to say no to anything and anyone.

Last drop for me was when MC found out that his/her uniform that was changed without his/her permission can and is used to control his/her body and MC can do nothing to stop it. And again he is 'okay and goes to sleep.

Read this if you like abused victim type MC.

Well, a good setting, but not for me, I dislike how everything happen and the MC it's powerless, that sensation of an conspiracy behind of everything and to the MC that is just ok. Not sure if will change later but I already dislike the MC friends that are just forcing the MC do what they want, then even if the MC gains power, I already disliked the others characters

Reading this "novel" makes me sick and angry. I am gonna read few more chapters to see how low can the author sink. Trаmpling on the basic human rights of the protagonist, exploiting his poverty and utilizing physical and psychological torment including torture, blackmail, forced crossdressing, brute force genderbender, forced indocrination similar to brainwashing and so on...

The Author claims this one is supposed to be fluffy and gentle read, but reading so far (c8) I find only ugly, terrible and disgusting things happening. I do feel sorry for the poor protagonist for things happening to him and his inability to resist the overpowered bullies who happened to humiliate him all the time. Other reviews already mentioned that the so called "friends" of MC are hateble and terrible people. MC is a spineless person with not even a spark of self esteam and dignity. A total loser of sort. Yet MC personality is somewhat acceptable considering his horrible past. So bulling this type of person is worst of the worst: same as kicking and tormenting a  crippled/dissabled person.

If you enjoy stuff when a male student being harassed to the extreme by some lunatics females this is your read. Otherwise run away!

This is my first time writing a review and, so far, I don't get any of the complaints everyone is spouting on about. The story is good and, from what I can tell, every complaint I have seen so far (except for a few) are blown out of proportion.

Then again, this is just my personal opinion.

Decently well written, dialogue doesn't make me want to claw out my eyes and prose flow smoothly. Not overly descriptive, I didn't find myself skipping the second half of every paragraph.

MC is downtrodden and bullied into crossdressing etc as per gender bender tropes.  In that sense this story is a typical crossdressing / feminization payoff kind of story, which I personally enjoy greatly.

Unfortunately the crossdressing angle and internal conflict related to genderbending are discarded fairly early.

      Spoiler

At chapter 10 the MC gets fully transformed into a female, at which point it's revealed that the MC was trans all along and this is exactly what she wanted.

Unfortunately this type of wish fulfillment has completely robbed the story of internal conflict, while replacing it with nothing. Everyone around her accepts her, the original terrible situation she fled from is resolved and forgotten, her sister no longer needs to be protected, all in one fell swoop.

Somehow the conflict of the main character being trans is set up and resolved in the same sentence by revealing to the audience that she is trans AFTER getting gender swapped.

      [collapse]

I see no reason to continue reading after the above mentioned plot developments collapse the narrative tension.  It seems to me that this author (as have many others on this site an elsewhere) has forgotten that conflict is central to every story.  By removing gender themes from the conflict the author has removed gender themes from the focus of the story, and replaced them with nothing that compels me to continue reading. If you're interested in lighthearted trans wish fulfillment then this is your bag, otherwise I can't recommend.

I love the story <3 just what I was looking for fluffy and cute and reading the first few chapters kinda reminded me of Classroom of the Elite anime.

I also love the characters apart from the MC like how they put effort to get stronger to protect the MC and not just leeching off from the MC by expecting him to gain sudden power ups (literally every isekai JP novel), I personally like the MC being average/weak and not OP so we get to see her cute feminine side more. Well characters aside I wish it stays GL although there wasn't any BL developments.

thanks a lot for the story I was able to read something good in a while on my spare time and I'm looking forward for new chapters. If you are fond of a cute MC with slice of life and a bit of tragedy then you should read this novel.

PS: My review sucks I don't know if I could even call this a 'proper' review.

I love the story so far. It has a lot of familiar elements of isekai, school, and slice of life manga but combines them in a really good way I haven't personally seen before.

It's funny at times, but I also get the feeling it will get more serious later and it even has some really dark undertones with the sort of tragic protagonist beginnings and desperation and the hints of things like slavery and maybe even death.

The characters at times follow common anime/manga tropes but still have enough personality to them to make them unique and distinctive and it's easy for me to associate to them and picture them in my head. I am more than anything in the series so far keenly interested to see how the interpersonal relationships develop.

The writers personal style and layout reminds me a lot of reading a manga without the images or even a play script where much of the descriptions are left to the imagination and while at times there can be a lack of detail it also keeps from bogging down the events with unnecessary fluff.

Overall as a fan of the genre; in its 6 chapters posted at the time I write this it has become one of the most anticipated and favorite stories on the site and I personally look forward to each chapter.

It's a beautiful written story, it's quite compelling to read, although the grammar could use a little work. I honesty hope this story comes out of hiatus, I'd love to know what happens next
