The dragons

The dragons are part of the chapters of lore and are planned to show up later in the story. Being gods the dragons are male, female, both, or neither on choice, so I will use whatever pronoun seems most appropriate.

Dragon-god of life, Velforas Prefers peaceful respite over action. When their world was first created, Velforas would heal the humans he deemed worthy until he found out that in doing so, he was preventing them from accruing their own knowledge in medicine. he went into hiding shortly after, but not before those he healed chose to follow him to the eastern forest. His dark green scales have never been seen since.

Curious by nature, the dragon god of fire Skraeggis was probably the most interested in humans. The tribal men of the time feared him so much they chased him and those him respected him out of the great plains and into the northern mountainous regions. His bright red scales camouflage him in the mountain named to his name.

Alchena, turbulent yet calm, brought those she called her children to the western sea after seeing what happened to skraeggis. With her divinity over water, she made them underwater abodes, where they could live peacefully fighting gigantic man-eating fishes. her deep blue scales can sometimes be seen depriving the most dangerous one of their lives.

Dominu, Dragon god of souls, picked their followers from the dead and never showed themself to the living. After all, they prefer being mysterious and living in the purple soul world, where they are but a silhouette.

Asmer of the wind was the first to give his followers superhuman traits as he wanted them to take to the skies with him. He found Velforas and extorted the hermit into giving them wings. He then created the turquoise sky stones that houses the asmeren even to this day.

Thron, unlike the others, never really had an interest in humans, and chose to continuously improve the lithosphere. His followers were more of an accident than a voluntary gesture, and he has always been oblivious to them.
