Elias and friends thought it was just a storm, everyone at Avonside University did, but when the clouds cleared and the sky was revealed again, they were met with a strange sky. Gone were the city lights and everything beyond the limits of their campus, replaced by a mountain wilderness. Elias is further swept away when he is torn from his friend's grasp and transformed beyond recognition. Will the newly dubbed Ryn find her way back to her friends, and or will she return to Avonside to find it ransacked and destroyed by the strange and magical forces that inhabit the new world?

While QV could definitely use a editor (and perhaps a organiser- seriously, mate, finish what’s on your plate! :P), this is a solid story with great characterisation and a compelling romance. The worldbuilding is fantastic, if slightly generic, and I really hope QV writes more of this story at some point in the future. Overall, excellent story with some quibbling editing errors, would recommend.

Vale's stories are phenomenal as always. She really deserves more recognition, as she's one of the best writers on this entire platform tbh. Really, really enjoyable to read and the writing is exceptional. You'll get hooked easily even tho you're not into homos*xual and gender bender. Definitely give this a try.

Look. I adore just about everything about this story. The characters, the way the story is moving, the slushie of emotions seeing Ryn get something I always wished for.
The release rate kills me, though. A month here, 3 there, 11 months here. I can't justify myself getting back into the story when the threat of another year long hiatus just hangs there.

I never usually write reviews, but this is just too good for me not to.
First of all, the characters. Every character has a unique personality that really draws you in, and the development is really fun to witness, seeing how some characters become happier, less shy, etc.
Not many novels have trans characters, and even when they do, it's rare that the issues of dysphoria are properly talked about, and hormones are mentioned even less. The social issues come up more often, but this novel portrays them in a very realistic way that not many others do. As someone who is trans, I find myself really drawn to the characters in this, as they are very realistic depictions of trans people, and the developments make me feel just as happy as the characters are shown to be.
The magic system is amazing and incredily unique, while being easy enough to understand. It isn't just biased in favour of the main character and company, even if they are more powerful than a lot of other mages. Ryn is shown to still be a rookie at magic with a lack of understanding of many of the basic spells and combat abilities that most mages use, however she makes up for it with her own abilities and knowledge from Earth, which results in a perfect fusion of medieval fantasy and modern ideas.
Ryn's development in magic is fairly slow when compared to other novels with mages, however, I think this is part of what makes her so great. It makes her more relatable to the average person, as she isn't just an overpowered genius who can beat anyone. She has her own issues and they make her seem real.
The only thing I could complain about right now is the lack of development for the villian (s). The main one is mentioned occasionally, but doesn't get much time in writing considering how important they should be. This will likely change as the novel continues, so I don't consider this to be much of a downside.
This was genuinely the most fun I've ever had reading a web novel, and I'm really looking forward to more.

Very wholesome story. Isekai is generally power fantasy, and this isn't an exception, but a lot of Ryn's idiosyncrasies ring extremely true to the trans experience, and her journey here is incredibly wholesome. Among the supporting cast, Grace, Cat and Tony stand out as well-realized characters with troubles and traumas of their own, rather than merely appendages to the wish-fulfillment PoV character. The single biggest issue is that the university job titles seem quite off. Generally they have presidents or chancellors rather than CEOs.

This one's heckin' fun. It's got a lot of unique ideas you don't see in a lotta fantasy isekai. In order:
1. An entire school gets isekai'd, and it's a university to boot. Usually it's like one class max.
2. The fantasy world is a ringworld! It's more Culture Orbital-sized than Niven sized, but it's such a great setting idea.
3. The magical system is wack! It's plant-based and really fun to read about and imagine.
Add to that the usual genderfeels and lesbians and... yeah. Fantastic story. Give it a gander!

I just, wow. Okay, yeah, wow. I was skeptical at first because it wasn’t a standard isekai to my weed tastes, but holy sh*t, this is BETTER than standard isekai sh*t. It feels so freaking real, everything in it feels tangible and really, really cool. Plus one of the most satisfying GL I’ve read so far.
