Good story and good characters, the premise is nothing new but it is well written.

The one hang up that is small to some readers, but makes this an unreadable story to others, is that the Author makes too many words bold, when they don't need to be, breaking up the flow of the story.

The writing is edgy and self indulgent; the dragon protagonist is fine, the mage female lead is fine, murder is fine, rape is fine, false rape accusations is fine, S&M is fine, cruelty and deceit and so on are all fine but it's hard to take any of this seriously.

I wouldn’t recommend for the faint of heart, everyone’s scum to a certain degree in this story. The author themselves had said this. Which means that there will be a lot of questionable decisions made by the characters. Most people will probably not like this type of story because they’ll think about morals. The MC’s not good but he isn’t like absolute trash. Basically everyone is out for that pie and they won’t stop until they’ll get it. The characters aren’t black or white and the setting is somewhat easy to follow. We get glimpses of the MC’s past which begets a lot of mystery. Overall, it’s pretty good.

Good quality, good story. The only downside is the length of the chapters, which are short. But, author-sama currently releases about 2 chapters daily, so I see no problems here.

Bold words probably every other sentence or paragraph, basically reads like someone is calmly talking and then shouts one word and then keeps calmly talking. Over. And over. And over. For literally no reason. At all.

Read this, knowing obviously that is on hiatus, only if you REALLY have nothing else to do. But really, this is a este of time. Not because is so bad that is unreadable, but because is just a dead end with a extremely limited amount of amusement, if any at all.

fairly smart characters. fairly decent character complexity. pretty darn good spelling and grammar. realistic about politics, religious organizations, and human nature. UNFORTUNATELY, it is incomplete. It was still a fun ride, however. Many people complain about bold words. They occur mostly in the first half of the story. Bold words are added for emphasis. There are many reasons for emphasis, and it is up to the reader to infer what that reason may be. It is not difficult for a reasonably intelligent person to do so, but many people in society, including those who read for a living... including people with phDs... are not particularly intelligent. If you are unwilling to cope with having to make such inferences, then you should either consider this piece to be brain training, or just move on and not read it.

    ~the intellect~
many tricks use to make characters look more intelligent than they really are. the most glaring one is the magic system itself. it can and cannot do abritary randoms things. as you continue to read, you will notice it has a pattern. a convenient tool to move plot along. is that bad?many fantasy novel also like this. somes are event more noticeble but feel less noticeble. thig is, this novel is not comedy. it is not fill with burning hate or hopelessness. it want to be rational, realistic and serious. it like to play with potilic. beg for me the reader, to scrutinize it with rationality. thus it is easily notice and much worst for reading experience.
    ~the characters~
like other review, this is world filled with people who may consider horrible by our standard. that's okay. but they're not attractive. what's attractive character? he is someone you want to read about. his happiness, suffering, struggle, exploits. you want to see what's his fate will be. there are many ways to make character more attractive. for example, something that does not required any change to plot or interaction dialouge. the inner monolouge and descriptions. let's talk about inner monolouge.i have read story about a character that react pretty much same way as this dragon. yet I like him but not this guy. this dragon guy, he's pathetic. his action might be logical. yet it still pathetic nontheless. give excuse after excuse for his cowardice. good inner monolouge can do wonder. prideful and arrogance, charismatic sentences made with lyricism. convince readers of one's action. still ratain dignity even at lowest point. really? bold fonts and grunting are all he can do? "i need to hide between my tail because I fear boogieman that may stronger than me, hmm!"there are no pride in that at all. little poetry and can fix that you know. why so blunt...
    ~the writing structure~
have you read this far? do you feel this review is too long? to much text? that's what I feel when reading this story. wall of texts... ain't that bad if they are fun to read. no poetry, no emotion. just sentenses after sentenses. only objectively describe events. what's fun in that? is this history class?
