Eleanor Deveena:

Spoiler

The daughter of the Duke Deveena from the Dahlia Kingdom, she moved to dorm in the Doctrina College Academy located in the furthermost right island of the Red Zone. With her outstanding grades and magic capabilities, many, including herself, believe she’s next-in-line to be the Kingdom’s Royal Sage. Bisexual and has an on-and-off relationship with her best friend/rival Elsie Eillenheart. Extremely popular and loves attention, but isn’t shallow and does care for her friends.

Has a prejudice against Sanctuary Elves to the point that it’s practically xenophobic. However, her reasons are entirely grounded.

Elsie Eillenheart:

Spoiler

A boyish ex-commoner, Elsie hates her cutesy name and plans on changing it once she breaks free from her adopted family. Born from a prostitute and a Marquis, she lived ten years as a commoner under her mother until her biological father,  the Marquis Eillenheart found her and adopted her into his family, albeit not out of goodwill. He needed a ‘gift’ to make peace with one of his rival families, so he formed a political marriage between Elsie and Marcus Apollo.

However, the Marquis found out Elsie’s talents for magic and knightship, so she was sent to the same academies as Eleanor, where they became fast friends. Is lesbian and has an on-and-off relationship with Eleanor Deveena. They had tried to officially become a couple only to end up fighting a lot, so they simply eased back into being friends-with-benefits.

Veronica Leylon:

Spoiler

She is an adopted daughter of the Leylon family.

One of two representatives of the Doctrina College Academy, Veronica is a workaholic. Her habit of working hard is not healthy, however, and hardly ever gets more than four hours of sleep each day, making her irritable. Has a crush on Eleanor Eillenheart, however, she isn’t very honest with her feelings, and due to her lack of sleep, is always peeved. In short, a tsundere because of her inability to sleep much. Ironically, because of her crush on Eleanor, she’s the only one she speaks often to/about, even if the contents are a bit harsh.

Gets seasick extremely easily and dislikes it when people find out. Just one of her many pet peeves. Fun fact: if she gets enough sleep and is energized well for the day, she smiles a whole lot more often and even becomes much more outgoing and approachable. That’s how Michael Hernold fell for her.

She has a secret about her species.

Side Characters

Professor Marcus Leylon:

Spoiler

Father of Veronica Leylon, Marcus is a noble professor in Doctrina College Academy. Teaches History and Theory of Ancient Magics. Loves the mystery behind the Demon race. Protective of his daughter. His wife passed away five years ago from cancer. Very focused on Earth-oriented magic but can seldom use shadow magic.

Michael Hernold

Spoiler

Second representative of Doctrina College Academy. A bit naive on social cues, but incredibly obsessive over the tiniest details. He became bewitched with one of Veronica’s smiles and fell hard for her. Doesn’t know how to court her, but sees Veronica and Eleanor constantly bicker and takes this as them getting along well. Has a very small, incredibly minor sneaking suspicion that maybe, just maybe, Veronica might love Eleanor.

Eleanor, much to his chagrin, rejected helping him. This caused him to look for other means to get Veronica to love him.

The Chancellor

Spoiler

The founder of the Doctrina College Academy. An extremely old yet beautiful woman, her beauty is enhanced by being part dryad. Born in the Land of Fae, she was brought into the Dahlia Kingdom as a slave, but escaped her captors and slowly worked her way up into owning a massive powerhouse of an academy.

She is a weak seer and knows Eleanor needs to go to the Harpocrates caverns to unlock something important. What it is, she doesn’t know.

E030

Spoiler

The silver-haired female Sanctuary Elf we see in the journey. She is the ‘leader’ of the group of five elves that accompanied Eleanor and her group to the Harpocrates caverns. She and the other elves are strangely similar in personality and body type. Whenever something catches her attention, the others stand on guard as well, almost as if they share senses. Is an airmad.

Harpocrates caverns

Spoiler

An old research facility in the Red Zone built by the old demon race, it was once a place of massive science and magical research into the extra-dimensional and otherworldly. Shut down during the destruction of the demon race, there’s a reason why it’s been abandoned until now. Has an eerily clean appearance to it, as if someone of something has been maintaining it.

The Red Zone

Spoiler

A massive abandoned continent that has tons of corrupted animals known as the Blights. It was once a massive industrial continent ruled by the Demon race, and now there are barely any villages and sentient people living there. It’s known as a lawless land. Has a lot of mountains. Is snowy and foggy most of the time.
