Once human, she is born as a lowly worker drone. To make things more difficult, she is bound to a supernatural force called the Hive Mind which attempts to control her every move. Now Ann must survive living in a dungeon, evolve, and take control of her life, all while trying to remain herself, or what she could remember of the person she once was.

Hi! Astrocat here! I am a regular Dungeon Master for my friends D&D group. As I don't get to control everything in D&D, (its the player's story, not mine!) this is my attempt at a creative output where I can control where the story goes, and is my first story to be written down. Therefore, expect mistakes! If anyone finds anything, comment, and I will do my best to fix things. This story is on haitus, as Covid sapped my motivation to write here. Recently I joined the Metus contest to give me some pressure to keep writing. When that contest is done, I will come back and continue this one, at one week per chapter as before. Sorry to everyone is disappointed.
