Story is just an Arifureta Clone with Literally Swords instead of Guns. The Protagonist is a Walking Cringy Angsty Edgy Trope, Like Yue is still named Yue 🤣 MC even has White Hair and Red Eyes just like guess who. It's not badly written but Honestly I found myself just skipping chapters cause it felt Boring. MC is an Assassin from Earth with a Pure White Soul with Chains Wrapped around it lmao I swear I'm not making this up. But ya it was not for me and maybe it gets better in later chapters but by 60 or 70 don't even remember where I stopped sh*t was just Boring.

First time ever to write a review so I think this will be a completely subjective review so please read with this in mind :)
This is a really intresting story even if it's based on Arifureta's story it has some original twist from the author so I think anyone who likes Arifureta would like to read this and won't get bored of it. The MC has a really interesting background and by far I really like how the story goes.
Although the story arcs pretty much follows the original Arifureta with the MC in it has turned the plot into a fresh and interesting story. I would recommend this anyone, especially those who likes Arifureta, as it is quite a fresh and interesting. 6 (^ w^)

I didn't realise, which might be my fault, but it's just arifureta. There's some trappings of another story, a different character with a different method of travelling to the world the cast of arifureta end up on, but then everything gets shoe horned into the same story arifureta took - guy in a dungeon gets knocked down to the depths, eats monsters to survive and grow strong, finds a vampire princess, starts crafting guns and vehicles that are named the same thing as arifureta's are, etc. It's like a different character got thrown down the same plot, although for what it's worth this character is more likable, seems to have a bit more personality but FOR ME, there's not near enough difference to warrant reading this.

The first two volumes are really a slog to get through because it comes across as an inferior retread of arifureta. To the point where MC effectively follows the original MC storyline and actions even when it doesn't make sense since he isn't the original MC and has a different origin and personality. This makes for a very frustrating read at times during those first 2 volumes since I've read the original story and know that the only reason MC is acting so weirdly out of character is because he is acting like the MC from the original story rather than getting to enjoy his own original story and personality during this time.
Thankfully things get better after that once it slowly starts to develop into it's own story. I might have given it a 4 stars if it had been wholly original from the start.

I don't get how the others reviewers said is written well, AT LEAST for the first 4 chapters it's very poorly written. It goes way too fast and there is no immersion, no suspense, nothing. I have not the impression of reading a novel, instead I'm reading just a cold, boring report.
Since the others reviews are all EXTREMELY positive, I suppose it gets better or the plot becames fascinating, but I'm sorry I'm not able to get past these initial chapters

The Creed of an Avenger is a story you won't mind rereading two or three more times because that's just how good it is.
