A kingdom encompassing the majority of the southwestern continent. With a heavy emphasis on military force and continental influence, the country currently houses the largest army within the continent, alongside the Mage Association and various guilds.
An association located in the city of Partivine consisting of numerous mages and scholars that study elemental magic. What began as a small circle of mages grew throughout history to become a large governing body of all users of elemental magic throughout the continent.
Registering at the association issues individual letter ranks according to the individual's general knowledge of magic, spell proficiency, and application skills. Registration is mandatory to use elemental magic, and those who practice elemental magic without prior registration are classified as rogue mages and persecuted by the association's enforcement sector.

A category of entities that encapsulate all sentient, intelligent beings that do not resemble mankind. In contemporary times, they majorly exist in ancient records and fictional tales. Dragons are included in this category.
The only known surviving demon tribe that is said to have existed since the very beginnings of the world. Dragons have a preference for seclusion, and many spend their lives in a morphed human-like form due to the various inconveniences their original forms entail.
By the virtue of their race, dragons have a tendency to possess vastly superior physical capabilities and mana reserves. However, unlike humans that are born with varying affinities across all elements, each dragon is only born with one specific affinity and their magic is limited to whatever affinity they were born with. Affinities tend to be passed down.

A spell that combines and synthesizes multiple elements instead of pertaining to a singular element.
If you like that one anime where the Demon Lord reincarnates as a baby and instantly makes himself an adult, you'll probably like this. I say probably because this story doesn't quite do it for me.
The world building is probably the best part about this story. You're given bits and pieces about human society at the DL's leisure, and the world's past is really interesting and unique for a story. I especially like the way the god's are portrayed. It realistically lacks in areas that the DL would have no interest in as well, as painful as that is.
The characters are less than great, with most of the realism in them being shoved under the rug in favor of the comedy you'd expect from such a story. Given some expansion on the world building, I believe it could be fixed. My personal head canon is that the world has been absurdly peaceful for a millennia, though I'm not one that can apply head canon to a story to fix it.
The story is there, and it nicely often switches between comedic and serious or dark moments in a way I quite enjoy. The progression speed is alright, feels a little fast at times, feels a little slow at times, but nothing major from a seemingly short (er) story. This is kind of where this falls apart for me, as I can't quite bring myself to be interested, without good, personal, reason, in a fight between a Dragonlord and Gods.
Overall, I would suggest that you give this a try if you like serious, dark, and comedic stories. I look forward to reading the author's future works.
