Possibility is a mixed reality modern fiction take on swords and magic, taking what I like from Rebirth of the Thief who Roamed the World, Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God, Apocalypse Online, God of Bugs, and a recent fic, Rise of Babel. It's a realistic take on sword and magic, and follows the rise of a game into worldwide aclaim from one of its first players, instead of starting the story with the world already established. Not going to be a ton of action in the beginning, mostly system dynamics and training, lots of training. As someone who is obsessed with training arcs, this story will start off slow, and the system itself will grow over time becoming more advanced (but still simple, since I like simple systems). I'm choosing AR instead of VR for most of the story, since I like the aspect of training your body to affect a game in real life (present in both RotTWRtW and RofSSG)

- This story will build up the characters and the world they live in, be prepared for both

- The MC will be the main viewpoint of the story. I do intend there to be some peaks outside of this for the purposes of both the world and character building, but they shouldn’t be too often

- I do not intend this story to wholly focus on the gender-bend; it's a character trait, not THE character trait.

- This story is a power fantasy, but it is one that is heavily reliant on character growth for any real power

- It shouldn’t be too dark, particularly for the first few arks. However, when a particularly important event happens… well, let's just say there is a reason why it’s important

- this story will be cute at times; it will have moments of deep introspection; it will go to dark places; it will have loving and caring moments; and it will have all the important moments in between

Fair warning: I think this story will be fun, I have plans for it… but those plans are intentionally vague. This is because I have a tendency to plan out story ideas that seem really good, I’ll add lots of detail and make a really cool magic system. Then I will believe that the story concept is really good… And then will be afraid that I can’t live up to the potential of it. As such I have ensured that this story had no such problem by writing the first chapter the same day I wrote the concepts underlying the story. This does not mean that I don’t know where the story is going, it means that I know snippets of where it will go, as well as some events that will happen, but how they come together is for both you and me to discover.

With all that said, I think I have cooked up something interesting, if maybe a little less unique than I like my stories to be. Though it’s still petty different and incorporates some of the basic concepts I’ve developed over the years to differentiate from the pack.
