And the thing about it is that everyone else seems to be taking her transformation for granted as well. Like it was inevitable or something.

Still, the whole thing is so wild and bizarre and such a huge change for everyone that her simultaneous gender transition is a second thought, hardly even commented on. Maybe it's because of where she lives, in the Pacific Northwest on the I5 corridor, where a lot of people are just really cool about everyone else's identities. Well, almost everyone else's.
