But what if there was a method that would not only lessen the problems but eliminate them all at once? 

Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, an international biotechnology organization called Endless Mist Corporation offered just that.

The plan to put an end to Gizgarde's predicaments by building a district able to occupy all of Gizgarde's wrongdoers and people who couldn't afford a living. This district would be called Krieglen.

100 years into the future and the corporation's plan was a success. Gizgarde became a utopia to its inhabitants, but there was still one problem. Krieglen wasn't the same as the rest of the country, criminal activities were widespread during the day and even more at night in the district. Of course the corporation came up with another plan. Genetically modified law enforcers along with a toxic mist that would appear each night would surely do the job, right? 

But of course, this was just a facade. Although the toxic mist did its job, there were activities within the mist that weren't known to the public. Were the enforcers even enforcing laws from the beginning? <<less

Across the floor, the shadow grew, a limb stretching out as though prepared to strike, and Milo whimpered, clenching his eyes shut. With a final breath, he waited for the embrace of death to take him. The clap of a large paw against his skull echoed throughout the room. <<less

Even a point came when he lost all his rationality and lived as a senseless demon. But no matter the obstacle. He endured. He learned. He survived. He evolved.

As the rumors of his endeavors spread, many feared him. Many respected him. Many bowed before him.
Nonetheless, Elias continued to walk on his path. The path of a demon.

As time passed, Elias continued to terrorize the world with his evil and devious means.

People deemed him as a threat who could no longer be ignored. Many empires united. They allied, and an all-out war started. But, be it the cruelty of fate or their foolishness, the alliance lost.

Elias stood as the lone survivor, but alas, he loses his life from an unforeseen cause.

But for better or worse, his story still seems to have not ended. Elias gets reborn back when he was young, and the path he walked once, he will walk again, but this time the one who suffers will not be him.

What to expect:
This story is based on the concept of "What if a villain, gets a second chance?". Hence it contains a lot of torture, torment, and inhumanity. Revenge or such feelings do not drive Elias, so it's not a revenge story. There won't be any rape scenes or incest. It's also not a story like that. But expect some cruelty and torture along the way.  Also, it's a slow-paced novel.

In short: A lunatic who terrorized the world with devious power and cruel means gets reborn, this time becoming even more powerful and ruthless.

From being mistakenly summoned as a hero, to being thrown right into a battle for the throne, to finally finding his true calling as a police officer...sort of, young master Arek goes through a whole lot in this story. He is betrayed and manipulated by the darkest hearts, yet he also finds warmth in the most unexpected of places. There is a lot I could go on and on about. But let me give it to you straight, this story is the tale of a useless little young master turning into a super useful powerful one, getting back at all those who have wronged him and finally finding a family. After all, what more would... more>> you need?

Note: If you are a fan of temperamental mongooses, non human roommates, healed trauma, weak to strong, resolved family conflicts, camaraderie, bickering, and bonding between teammates, and a hodgepodge of light novel tropes - including but not limited to systems, summoning to another world, weird witches, illegitimate princes fighting for the throne, something like split personality, magic naturally, etc. - all throne into one story, then you may like this one.

Note 2: Once upon a time this story had a BL tag. If I could have written one chapter more the BL would have started. But one chapter means the story would end on a cliffhanger. I still hold out a little hope, but for now I don't think this story is going to have much BL. This is very, very unfortunate as I myself am a BL author and reader. Sigh...I hope you like action and adventure because that's mostly what this is.
