It will start out very stereotypically for the first few chapters (for epic fantasy at least). If you can tolerate a couple of seeming tropes (i.e. the Chosen One etc.) for 5 or so chapters, I promise that The Eternal War will diverge into much more interesting storylines. I like writing slow burns, taking my time to establish characters etc., before getting into the exciting bits of a story. I also thoroughly enjoy trying to subvert tropes, although how successful I am with that is up to the individual reader, of course.

I will update the book every day until volume one is complete, and after that, I'll switch to a Wednesday/Saturday release schedule. <<less
