However, she still doesn't forgive her. In fact, she thinks Sammy deserved to be torn apart. Yet, as luck would have it, before Ray could leave the city, the now infected Sammy found her and pinned her down. And, to top it off, instead of killing Ray, Sammy started snuggling up to her!

With a seemingly "friendly" corrupted sticking to her, Ray decides to make her way to a hidden research facility, hoping to turn in her corrupted follower...

This is a spin-off sort-of sequel to my character's (Hikari) story from the (now dead) Adventurer's Guild Roleplay from Novel Updates Forums. This is Hikari's story, it has almost nothing to do with an Adventurer's Guild nor does it have anything to do with adventures in general.

This story is set in the Iris Region and follows a diverse group of trainers at the height of their respective journeys, most of them having either beaten all eight gyms or moved onto other things that don't necessarily involve battling. The world of pokémon where humans can too be gifted certain abilities and powers, though not follow the same rules their far stronger partners do.

Evelyn and Emma, two girls in their twenties that have been united over a tragic past are part of this group, though they're not considered the strongest of them they can definitely hold their own. They often help out with whatever task is needed, be it training, making sure they're base of operations is alright, or in this case, research. But can you even call it that?

Their leader, Nova, has sent the group's youngest to deal with a supposed 'myth' that Celebi was around the nearby forest. Though they do find temporal anomalies, what they find isn't what Nova was after- now stuck in FAR younger bodies and dealing with a mechanical prison warden who calls themselves a caretaker, they must escape and find their way back to the group. If only they knew what awaited them...

Hey! This is the first story I've ever written on my own, updates may be slow. I found a fair few pokémon bits of fiction on this site, and said "Hey, what if we put the beginning at the end?" so this is where that comes from. Expect POV Switches, Age Regression, Age Progression, Pokémon, Action, Slice of Life, and Supernatural occurences even for the whacky pokémon world. While humans are rather resilient in this, this isn't like the anime- characters CAN die. I will warn you all right now that if it is appropriate, the main cast are not exempt from this- so try not to get too attached.

... If I can make them good enough characters to be attached, did I mention this is my first time writing something like this? Oh yeah, another thing. This isn't going to follow the generic isekai/AR trope of just time skipping the main duo's second childhood. They likely will be children for this story and any other stories I plan to make, don't worry too much about the time frame of things- they may age when it feels appropriate but it will not be here. If ever, it'll be in future work- if I even get to that point.

The last thing is this story is purely Safe For Work, for character relationships there will be nothing beyond kissing or usual affection stuff done on screen. I really could not care less for NSFW stories. This story will be mainly slice of life. <<less
