This novel is over a year old, I still have a lot to write. But I've been informed by my readers that I should update the synopsis. This is a FIRST draft, it is RAW, and it is UNEDITED. For the first 50 or so chapters, I as the Author wasn't entirely sure what direction I wanted to take the novel. So it is really convoluted at the start. Why haven't I changed it? FIRST draft.

I used to be John a VR tester and a whiskey connoisseur in a world that felt real. But wasn’t. The government ran a magical simulation of the future and then abruptly pulled the plug.

But not before a punk kid yanked me out of there and dumped into the real world… twenty years in the past. A day before the Earthling unleashed the players into the Rimelion.

Fortunately, in this timeline, my hacker friend is alive and kicking and got me there. Unfortunately, he decided to sneak me into Rimelion as the avatar of his dearly departed lover.

And thanks to my glitchy VR capsule, my real-world body matched the virtual one, forcing me to navigate Earth as a girl, and Rimelion as an elven priestess.
