Present day from the perspective of Robby

It is the day after I hanged out with Harry and Olivia, I think I fell asleep when I was talking to harry last night, I hope he is not mad about that. I just remembered I have to help clean at the library today, I was accepted to this school on a contract that stated I had to complete a task assigned to me every second Sunday. Getting ready to go to school on a Sunday feels very unnatural, but after forcing myself to do it I was eventually on my way to school. As like any other Sunday the streets were empty as I walked, almost empty except for this one girl that was very small, no more than 5 ft tall, long straight black hair and was wearing glasses. When I made it to school I realized she was still walking close by, when I made it to the front of the Library the doors were shut and no one was answering when I knocked the doors.

"Um... excuse me," someone said to me in a low voice

"Huh?"

"I need to open that door,"

It was the girl that was walking here, her voice was so low I almost Could not make out what she was saying.

"Oh, sorry," I said

As she opened the door she had a very elegant look to her, she stood straight and had a mature look on her face, but her hair was obviously not combed and she did not have on a single bit of makeup.

"Hey, I'm here to help clean up the library today, are you the librarian?" I asked

"Um... yeah, I guess you could wipe the tables first... please"

I have no idea why she said "please" at the end of that but I guess she just isn't too sociable. As I wiped the tables I noticed this girl was doing nothing but writing in a note book, she had a pretty cute smile the whole time so I hurried up so I could ask her about it.

"I'm done with the tables..."

I noticed in her notebook was writings about how much she looked up to Chloe and wanted to be a super star like her, she noticed and quickly closed her book and had an embarrassed look on her face.

"Did you see?" she asked

"I did... sorry"

"You think I'm weird now don't you?"

Her face was getting so red from embarrassment I thought she might explode, I did not really understand why since most girls in this town either looked up to Chloe like her or was just jealous of Chloe.

"Not really, I think it's good to have someone to look up to"

"But I could never get where she is"

"I don't think you should aim to be where Chloe is, maybe aim higher?"

"Huh...? I could never"

"If you continue talking like that you will never be able to get where you want, can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure"

"I've actually known Chloe ever since she was a little kid, and never had I ever seen her tell herself she could not do something, she always sung her heart out without worrying about what anyone said"

"Really? can you maybe ask her to meet me???"

This girls eyes was so sparkly when she was asking me this, a beautiful green color, it kind of hurt me to tell her what I did,

"I don't think that will be possible, we've kind of went our separate ways and don't talk anymore, sorry"

"Oh..."

Her head went down back in disappointment.

"You should lift your head up and smile more" I said

"Huh?"

"You look really pretty when your smiling"

"...W-what are you saying?!"

Her reaction was pretty cute, she looked like a tomato because of how red her cheeks were, kind of reminded me of whenever I use to compliment Chloe on her singing as a kid. I noticed the pile of books surrounding this girls desk and thought it would be hard for her to put up any that belonged on a high shelf.

"You need help putting those books back?" I asked

"Huh...? oh yeah, if you would be so kind"

We spent some time putting the books back up and when I was putting up the last few books the girl said she had to run to her classroom to get something. My time had ran out when I finished putting back all the books, I ran outside to catch up with the girl to tell her I was leaving, I caught a glimpse of what classroom she entered and followed her inside.

"Hey, I'm leav..."

I saw her rummaging under her desk and saw on the top of her desk "Ugly, bitch, fore eyes, kys " and much, much more written on her desk. She seemed to be a second year at the school, and It was painfully obvious that this girl was getting bullied in her class.

"Oh, your time is up right?" she asked

I walked closer up and put my hand on her desk.

"Why are people writing all this on your desk?"

"Oh... I guess I'm not very popular or get along with anyone here"

"This is not okay, why don't you tell the teacher?"

"I did ask her for a new desk but it was covered in writings as well by the end of the day"

"Don't you stand up for yourself?"

"Why would I? everyone is above me, I have no right or neither the power to do anything"

When she said this I started to feel my nails dig into my palm as I clenched my fist out of anger, I wish I could do something for her but with this contract my school life would be over if I got in another fight.

"Can I borrow a pen?" I asked

"Um... sure"

"My name is Robby by the way, can I know your name?"

"Um... it's L-Lillie, Lillie Michelle"

I put the pen point on her desk and began writing, the words on her desk written by me read "SUPER STAR" in all caps.

"Nice to meet you Lillie, I hope we can be good friends" I said

I handed her back the pen and walked to the front door.

"Also never say you are below anyone ever again or I'll get mad" I said

I walked out of the school, I stared up at the red afternoon sky, only one thing was being said in my mind, the one thing I want to do now.

"I really hope I can make her start smiling more"
