Inside Elarose's new wooden house-

A group of eight(And one squirrel) sat at the table with cut golden-stripped carrots, golden-stripped sugar beets, gold-spotted red peaches, cooked translucent carps, and purple tea with golden specks.

Of course, these were the mutated carrots, sweet beets, and tea leaves.

Crunch* Crunch* Crunch*

The people present sampled the precious goods worth thousands with delight, celebrating that they had finished building the house and that the field was growing quickly.

Normally, it would take much longer to produce these goods, but due to the high number of crystals concentrated in a single area, the nymph sisters tending the field, and Elarose's presence, the field grew very quickly.

The Empire and Coalition barely find a handful of these crystals in an excellent year and perhaps none in a bad one. And the energy of the soil is also absorbed by the plants, meaning that the soil quality deteriorates the more it is used. They only grow mythical plants in their garden and let their best druids tend them.

However, the plants Rilden planted in the garden were legendary at most. Only the already-present mythical Equalibrium fruit tree was tier 7, but it was too young to bear fruit yet. On the other hand, the carrots and beets had shorter growth cycles, and the life peach tree was only Tier 3. As for the Tea Tree, although it was Tier 6 and young, its leaves were already good for consumption. Although it would slightly slow down its growth, the nymph sisters assured it wouldn't be a problem since the tree was deriving most of its energy from the soil, and they were nurturing it with energy daily. Elarose's presence also had a positive effect.

Rilden looked at the food and used <Analyze>.

Name: Longevity Peach(Natural Treasure)
Tier: 3
Effect: Slows down one's aging by half for 1 year. Also has healing, detoxing, and curing properties.
Description: Eat one yearly to double your lifespan and be healthier.

Name: Softwater Crystal Carp(Natural Treasure)
Tier: 2
Effect: Increases Warrior and Magician talents up to 3 when eaten.
Description: A mouthwateringly delicious carp that ate treasure weeds.

Name: Wisdom Tea(Natural Treasure)
Tier: 6(Poor Quality)
Effect: Improves Comprehension up to 7. It also temporarily enhances focus, learning speed, memory, and mental recovery rate, and alleviates mental stress.
Description: A must for every sage! Made from tea leaves from a Tier 6 Wisdom Tea Tree and brewed with Tier 3 spiritual water. Due to the spiritual water being too low-level, it only drew 40% of the efficacy. To draw out the full 100%, Tier 6 spiritual water is required.

After close to a week of digesting crystals and eating another crystal each, the quadruplet sisters broke through to Tier 3 this morning.

"Hah... That was good." Rilden sighed while sipping his tea, feeling satisfied.

"Hah... I strangely feel a sense of deep satisfaction." Elarose also sighed with a contented look.

"The meal is so simple, yet it is the most luxurious I've had..." Audfrey said with a relaxed face.

"Yeah, that hit the spot," Ozi said, picking his teeth with a fish bone.

"I still don't get how you can fit so much in that tiny frame," Sibbe muttered, amazed at the squirrel's appetite.

"I am a Tier 1 monster, toots. Although I don't look like it, I can easily eat the amount a biggie like you eats," Ozi lazily said and continued picking his teeth.

Incidentally, the nymph sisters didn't eat the carp. They were strictly vegetarian. However, they enjoyed the rest just fine. Meanwhile, Ozi could eat everything since he was an omnivore.

After finishing his tea, Rilden couldn't help but check his status. Specifically, his Comprehension.

Comprehension: 3.5 -> 4.55(Above Profound)

This was the result after drinking a single cup. Rilden noticeably felt that his intelligence rose sharply. Unfortunately, Sapphirli was too weak, making the tea only 40% as effective as it should be. If brewed in Tier 6 spiritual water, that one cup would have raised his Comprehension above 5!

"Wow, I feel so clear-headed. This tea is amazing!" Audfray contentedly said.

"I know, right~?" Sibbe sighed with the same look.

"It makes all my worries fly away," Elarose relaxedly said.

"Although the effect is temporary for me, I feel like some of the things I was stuck on feel easier to learn," Ozi said while sipping tea from a tiny cup.

"I wouldn't mind drinking it three times a day," Rilden nodded.

However, the nymph sisters immediately protested.

"Don't pick too many leaves from the poor child! It will stunt its growth." Emerli said.

"That's right! That's right!" The other three sisters parroted.

"Then, how many portions can be produced without harming it?" Rilden curiously asked.

"For now, 9 portions a day are already the limit before you damage it. However, as the tree grows, the garden has more Atrivia's Love, and we grow stronger, we can easily multiply that number several-fold." Emerli explained.

"Fair enough." Rilden nodded and dropped the issue.

There was no need to rush things. There were already 17 crystals invested in the field and 16 in the nymph sisters. By summer's end in a month and a half, he plans on tripling that number. But more importantly-

Rilden glanced at Audfrey and checked her Comprehension.

Comprehension: 4.1

"If we had that duel now, she would go slightly easier on me... but I doubt I would win. From what I understand, Jurgan is one of the top 3 duelists in the human pantheon, right next to Bulthar, the Thunder Warrior God, and Rardum, the Ancient War god of Winter Combat. In contrast, Qhiion is weaker in single combat, but is stronger after shedding enough blood. <Precognition> and <Perfect Warrior> have their limits." Rilden warily thought.

Rilden knew his limits. Even if they were at the same Tier, his bloodline was unsuitable for combat! It was purely auxiliary. In contrast, Audfrey had a purely combative bloodline and was, for lack of better words, a war beast in battle. Her bloodline might even receive an upgrade after Jurgan does his thing.

"To even hold a chance to beat her, she would need 5-, no, 6 Comprehension, and that is stretching it. But I prefer not to fight her, so I will wait for it to reach 7. From my calculations, about 8 more cups? I can wait a bit." Rilden thought and reached for his pocket, taking out a tiny box.

Opening it, he saw a cushioned four-leafed golden clover and unknowingly smiled.

Name: Lesser Golden Four-Leafed Clover(Natural Treasure)
Tier: 3
Effect: Increases Luck by +4 when carried(Cannot be superimposed with other good luck natural treasures). Alchemical and ritualistic ingredient. Lasts for 24 hours(17 remaining). It can be given to another but not stolen.
Description: The universal symbol of luck! What good things would befall you or someone you care about?

Incidentally, Emerli picked it before handing it to him.

"With this, my Luck is already +7. Would I have better luck in my <Daily Prophet>?" Rilden eagerly thought.

Luck was a metaphysical concept, manifesting without rhyme or reason, but only within the scope of the subjected person's reach. If you stay cooped up in your house and do nothing, few good things could befall you. But for Rilden, a king of three small nations and with the <Daily Prophet>, his scope of good fortune stretched for dozens of miles!

Eagerly, he waited for the next day.

Day 41:

With the Rainbow Conch worn and the Golden Clover carried, Rilden tested his new and improved luck. And he wasn't disappointed.

[There is an Atrivia's Love forming in—]

[There is an Atrivia's Love forming in—]

[+7 Good Luck Effect! Another Atrivia's Love would luckily form nearby in—]

[+7 Good Luck Effect Strikes Again! Your chance to improve your Magician Tier has come! Due to Atrivia's shower of love, a blueberry bush will soon mutate into a Tier 4 Crystal Blueberry bush, with about 4 pints worth of crystal blueberries. Two pints are enough to make anyone into a peak Tier 4 magician! However, it would clog your system with impurities, making further breakthrough impossible if not cleared. But the power of love(Elarose) can solve it after a few nights of cuddling. As a side note, it wouldn't negatively affect your duel with Audfrey since your magician tier would be forcefully sealed and wouldn't count! However, you can further awaken your bloodline power, and Elarose can tend the field better. It will grow in—]

Rilden widened his eyes in surprise before grinning.

"Thank you, luck!"

In the afternoon-

After eating two pints of crystal-like blueberries each, Rilden and Elarose broke through, achieving Peak Tier 4 Magician power. Except that abilities that relied on magic were improved, Elarose didn't experience much of a chance. However, Rilden was different.

[The Bloodline Abilities, <Daily Prophet>, <Analysis>, <Precognition>, and <Clairvoyance> have upgraded due to your increase in strength.]

[You have awakened a new Bloodline Ability: <Fateless Blood>]

"Well... That ability sounds interesting." Rilden thought as he quickly checked the upgrades, saving the next one for last.

[<Daily Prophet>: Can reveal 5 pieces of beneficial future news once a day(1 charge remaining).]

As usual, <Daily Prophet> went up by 1. Of course, to him, every addition was a welcome one.

[<Analysis>: Can evaluate the statistics of self. Can analyze creatures and objects(Effects and time vary depending on the difference in strength). It strains the mind when analyzing others, and higher Comprehension lowers the strain. Can view abilities, items, and conditions in more detail.]

"Hah... well, that's a welcome addition."

[<Precognition>: When activated, you gain vision into the immediate future. Will passively activate when in danger. It strains the mind whenever it triggers, and higher Comprehension lowers the strain. It would also passively enhance your Intuition, and you can understand it better with higher Comprehension.]

"Oh! So it now also improves my Intuition? Sweet."

[<Clairvoyance>: Your eyes are mystical! When you focus, you can see the auras of all objects, living things, and the supernatural, and see through lies and illusions. You can also see an illusory path toward a location, item, or person you seek. You can also see through dimensional obstructions. The more specific and closer it is, the higher the accuracy. Use can strain the mind, and higher Comprehension can lower the strain. Can be empowered with Magic Power.]

Rilden carefully checked this one and found the difference.

"So, I can now empower it with Magic Power? Nice. But Dimensional obstructions? What the heck is that?" Rilden felt puzzled and tried activating it.

Looking around, there wasn't much of a difference. However, there was one change. He felt that he could see through objects.

"So, objects are the so-called dimensional obstructions?" Rilden curiously thought.

He saw through the table, his hands, Elarose's clothes—

"Awesome..." Rilden thought, his eyes drawn to the twin mountains and the promised land.

"My husband, why are you staring at my chest with your power?" Elarose asked, making Rilden stop.

"I was just testing my power... hehehe..." Rilden warily laughed.

Elarose raised an eyebrow, having guessed something, and lifted her twin peaks with crossed arms.

"Does this help with your test?" Elarose playfully asked.

"Yes..." Rilden instinctively nodded.

"And this?" Elarose asked, spreading her legs under the table.

"Gulp* Very..." Rilden swallowed, feeling his lips dry.

"Pervert. Wait for tonight." Elarose winked and got up, intentionally swaying her hips from side to side as she left the room, flaunting her rear.

"Hot, damn..." Rilden muttered, trying to restrain himself.

After calming himself, Rilden checked his new ability. But when he saw it, he couldn't stay calm anymore.

[<Fateless Blood>: Your blood is unfettered from the strings of fate! Greatly enhances your resistance to Divination, Prophecy, and Fate Manipulation, but does not affect Luck(Probabilistic Randomness). When you <Analyze> someone and see their ability, you can save up to 10 Bloodline Abilities belonging to the other(Cannot exceed Tier 4, and can be overwritten). Except for <Fateless Blood>, you can temporarily switch your bloodline abilities to other bloodline abilities you saved up. The cooldown on temporary abilities is defaulted to maximum, while the cooldown of personal bloodline abilities is retained. Some abilities might have incompatibility issues.]

"Holy... Jackpot!" Rilden's eyes gleamed.

This was the same as allowing him to switch 4 out of 5 bloodline abilities! And he can store up to 10!

"With this... I can pick bloodline abilities according to the situation, right?" Rilden muttered and thought of multiple uses. "I can copy Ozi's <Psychic Link> and <Super Learning>, Astrid's <Qhiion's Killing Gaze>, or even... Sibbe's <Blight Affinity> and <Blight Empowerment>?!"

This would give him significant versatility, allowing him to communicate better, study faster, give him a trump card, and travel into untraversable places!

When he doesn't use <Daily Prophet>, <Analysis>, and <Clairvoyance>, he can switch to other abilities! As for <Precognition>, he planned on never changing it unless he had no choice. It was his lifeline, after all.

"Things are looking good." Rilden grinned.
