Several hours later-

Cindy was in the kitchen, cooking dinner, and raised her voice.

"Grandpa, dinner is almost ready! Are the guests back yet?"

"Not yet," Chester replied, looking through some papers while wearing reading glasses.

"They're still out training?!" Cindy exclaimed in shock.

"Don't judge them by normal standards, Cindy. The Hell Challengers are just built differently." Chester shook his head.

Just as he said that-

Clack* Creek*

"Mr. McNab, Cindy, we are back," Sonia said, opening the front door, which wasn't locked.

"Something smells good," Nidawei said, smelling the air.

"Welcome back! Food is almost ready, so sit at the table and wait, please." Cindy said from the kitchen.

"Nice! We're starving." Asher smiled.

The trio then headed to the somewhat large dinner table and took their seats.

"So, how was your harvest? Did you get the titles and skills?" Chester casually asked, putting down his glasses and coming to the table.

"Not bad. We reached Fitness(lvl 40) and Running(lvl 27)." Asher lightly said.

"Fuck..." Chester couldn't help but blurt.

"Grandpa, you cussed!" Cindy pointed out, having an amused look as she brought dinner to the table.

"I can, since I am an adult. You can't, since you are a minor." Chester said with a thick skin.

Cindy rolled her eyes as she put the plates down and smiled at the trio.

"Today's dinner is Cornmeal Mush with bacon, garlic, peas, and baby carrots, cornbread, garden salad, and some cider to gulp it down."

"Looks great!" Sonia smiled.

"Haven't eaten something like this in a while." Asher was also pleasantly surprised.

"This definitely deserves more than 3 extra shillings," Nidawei added.

"Hah... were you a wealthy noble or merchant?" Cindy curiously asked, pouring mush into her grandfather's bowl.

"Cindy, it's impolite to ask that." Chester chastised as he picked a spoon.

"It's fine... and yes, I am a merchant." Asher, who had enough material wealth to collapse an entire world's economy a few times over, lightly said.

"I knew it!" Cindy proudly said, puffing her budding chest.

"Just sit down and eat." Chester shook his head and started eating.

After dinner, the trio returned to their room, bodies sore, and viewed their spoils, which they gained through normal exercise and running.

General Title: Fit

You realize that being fit gives many benefits. So continue working hard!

Effects:

  • Stamina Recovery +25%
  • Strength, Endurance, Vigor, and Agility +2.5
  • You permanently obtain the General Skill: Fitness(lvl 1)

General Skill: Fitness(lvl 40)

Fitness improves your overall physical abilities and ability to replenish stamina. It is the foundation of most physical professions.

Effects:

  • Stamina Recovery +40%
  • Strength, Endurance, Vigor, and Agility +4

Fitness was a foundational skill, and the improvement it provided was significantly better than that of other skills. Of course, this would be the normal result of others after months of intense, dedicated training, but thanks to their perfect training form and high Comprehension, their skill leveling speed was like a rocket.

On the other hand, Running gave a smaller bonus.

General Title: Runner

The body was built to run, so you run!

Effects:

  • Running Efficiency +25%
  • Vigor and Agility +2.5
  • You permanently obtain the General Skill: Running(lvl 1)

General Skill: Running(lvl 27)

Run! Run! And run some more!

Effects:

  • Running Efficiency +27%
  • Vigor and Agility +2.7

The so-called running efficiency didn't improve speed. Instead, it made running less energy-intensive, while speed itself was determined by agility.

In any case, Strength and Endurance increased to 16.5, while Vigor and Agility reached 21.7!

Of course, such intense training had its toll.

"I'm pooped. I don't remember being this tired in a long time." Sonia said, slumping on the bed, every muscle in her body protesting.

"You said it. I was barely holding myself back from collapsing while we ate." Nidawei agreed.

"It will get better as Fitness and Vigor improve. Until then, we can only endure it." Asher shook his head.

"Dammit. I miss the enhanced healing factor of the Ascended." Sonia muttered.

"By the way, can't we temper our body with Aura from my reality?" Nidawei suddenly asked.

"Oh, right! There is that! We can directly restore our strength!" Sonia's eyes lit up.

However, Asher shook his head.

"I tried. After I pulled it out, it just disappeared. Same for crystals."

"Darn system..." Sonia pursed her lips.

"We can only endure it, then." Nidawei also sighed.

"Anyways, agreed on skipping sex while training?" Asher tiredly asked.

"I don't feel comfortable doing it at someone else's house," Nidawei said.

"Agreed. And I don't want to give that old pervert a show," Sonia added.

"But I do understand that there is a Sex Worker Production Class that has sex-related skills. They can improve our physical stats and even Charisma." Nidawei amusedly said.

"Perverted rabbit, save it until we get our strength back. For now, focus on training." Sonia gave her a tired side glance.

"You know, I already lost my ears since we got here." Nidawei pursed her lips, patting her head.

Whatever the system did to her, it undid her rabbit characteristics. She was actually happy about this, but she would miss those ears.

"Sorry..." Sonia said in an apologetic tone before adding. "But you're still a sick pervert. I still won't forget what you did in that medieval world with that evil tyrant after he wanted to capture us as sex slaves due to our beauty. You turned their castle into a fucked-uped BDSM sex dungeon, and even made Boss have a go at the prettier bitch princesses using clones while you whipped the others and laughed like a sadist."

"And you enjoyed every moment of it as you rode our husband on the throne." Nidawei sneered.

"Oh, you know I did." Sonia narrowed her eyes and grinned.

"Hah... that was a classic." Asher sighed, recalling that moment.

As three mentally ancient monsters, they were messed up, and they knew it. They could, of course, suffice with vanilla, but they also enjoyed some extreme plays on occasion... if someone was unlucky enough to deserve it. That is just what happens when you visit many worlds you can abandon at any time, and you have god-like powers.

Power Corrupts, and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. They knew this better than anyone else.

Of course, they drew the line when it came to permanent worlds, especially their realities.

"Well, let's wash up and sleep. I want to get strong as quickly as possible." Sonia said.

"By the way, honey, did you send the trapped scenario letters?" Nidawei asked.

This, of course, referred to the off-chance they would be trapped in another world, but still alive.

"I did to all three worlds. We will send them messages every month starting now. Hopefully, we can escape from here within a few years." Asher sighed.

After washing up, the trio peacefully slept.

.

.

.

Ten days later-

"997... 998... 999... 1,000!" Nidawei finished her weighted set of push-ups and got up, happily viewing two notifications.

General Skill: Fitness(lvl 499 -> 500)

General Title: Fitness Grandmaster -> Fitness Fanatic

"Hah... Done." Nidawei sighed, unbuckling her weight vest.

Thud* Thud* Thud*

"And that makes all three of us. Now we have an extra +100 in the four physical stats and regenerate stamina ten times faster. It feels good to have some of our strength back." Sonia smiled.

"That doesn't include Running(lvl 342) and Carrying(lvl 306). They also improved our four physical stats by over 60 points." Asher said.

Starting from the second day, they began carrying weights on their backs, which earned them a related title and skill. This one increased Strength and Endurance instead of Vigor and Agility, and made carrying less taxing on the body. In this way, the three skills complemented one another.

Normally, these three skills would certainly provide a nice bonus that was helpful to most professions, so those with the leisure and foresight would work hard to improve them. However, the degree usually didn't surpass lvl 25 unless it was part of their profession or a hobby. After all, not everyone was a freak with powerful willpower, trained over mental millennia, and was willing to train for more than an hour or two a day. Moreover, stamina potions existed, so those who were wealthy were not too inclined to waste their time on this when the easier option of leveling up existed. After all, before reaching Nightmare difficulty, they could spam potions! And even the Nightmare Difficulty had skills and equipment for enhancing stamina recovery.

In the end, only the trio of old monsters would even consider grinding them as soon as they arrived at such high levels!

"Yet we still didn't unlock our racial skills." Nidawei pursed her lips.

"We still need to improve Perception, Charisma, and Magic for that. Shooting and Throwing might be suitable for grinding Perception, while bargaining, persuasion, and intimidation would help Charisma. As for Magic... we will need to make a trip to the nearby town." Sonia had a helpless look.

"So now, we need to consider whether to continue the grind or leave for the nearby town." Asher mused.

"Honey, I actually still don't feel that safe going out. While the chances are low, what if we are attacked by some powered-up lunatic or a powerful wild monster?" Nidawei warily said.

"I know, right~. The locals might not be that afraid since they can automatically revive in a church, albeit naked and with a reduced level. Meanwhile, one fuckup for us, and it's game over." Sonia bitterly said.

"Okay. Votes for continuing the grind?" Asher asked, raising his hand.

The other two also raised their hands.

Several minutes later-

In Chester's house-

"Wait, you want to continue staying here?!" Chester blinked, surprised.

"Didn't you want to go to the town?" Cindy also spoke.

"Yes. We realize we are a bit too weak, so we wish to continue training." Sonia sighed, ashamed.

"We apologize if we inconvenience you." Nidawei apologized.

"Of course, we are willing to pay. We wish to stay for another 20 days." Asher added, putting two Silver ingots on the table.

Thud* Thud*

Chester looked at the shiny silver on the table, and then at the trio of beautiful monsters who were very well-behaved and unproblematic tenants, and smiled.

"You're welcome to stay for as long as you like."

.

.

.

Twenty days later-

General Skill: Fitness(lvl 1,273)

General Title: Fitness Demigod

General Skill: Running(lvl 862)

General Title: Running Saint

General Skill: Carrying(lvl 756)

General Title: Lifting Saint

The trio observed their physical stats, about 350-400 points each.

"Well... I doubt anything from the Normal Difficulty can do anything to us anymore without some serious firepower. Should we stop here?" Asher asked.

Sonia and Nidawei looked at one another before looking at Asher.

"Boss, let's grind Perception next with Throwing, Archery, and Shooting," Sonia suggested.

"It wouldn't hurt to practice close-quarter combat," Nidawei added.

"Hm... Vote to stay?"

All three raised their hands.

Later that day-

Clank* Clank* Clank* Clank* Clank* Clank*

Chester looked at the 6kg of silver and then at the trio.

"I don't mind the extra money... but how long are you planning to train your skills before leaving?" Chester warily asked.

"Hm... when we feel safe enough?" Sonia tilted her head after some thought.

"It isn't that dangerous outside..." Cindy muttered.

"We don't want to leave things to chance," Nidawei added.

"And that's how it is. Please take care of us." Asher smiled.

"... Just don't overdo it..."

.

.

.

Two months later-

It was already the middle of summer, and the trio training was a common scene in the village.

After two months of training, they looked at their gains-

You obtained the following titles:

General Title: Precision Demigod
Class Title: Throwing Saint
Class Title: Pistol Saint
Class Title: Rifle Saint
Class Title: Archery Saint
General Title: Close Combat Demigod
Class Title: Sword Saint
Class Title: Shield Saint
Class Title: Knife Saint
Class Title: Axe Saint

The following titles have been upgraded!

General Title: Running Saint -> Running Demigod
General Title: Lifting Saint -> Lifting Demigod

Evaluating their gains over the past two months, the trio held a meeting.

"I think we trained our stats and skills enough. While we might not match a lvl 300 Hard Difficulty in raw stats, we have our unique titles... and it should be enough to be the top dogs in a small town." Asher mused.

"True." Sonia nodded.

"And I want to rent my own house. I feel bad staying in this house all the time, and I want to read more books and study magic." Nidawei added.

"Then it's time to leave."
