If you want to be the best, listen to me.

"Well, I thought they would be a bigger challenge, they only complicated you a little bit."

The old man spoke with disappointment as he watched the pair lying on the ground, unconscious.

"They didn't complicate me at all, man, who are you?"

"I already answered that question, although it seems that you don't know when to give up huh?"

"Answer correctly this time."

"You sound really full of yourself while lying on the ground, boy."

Jun, who had defeated the other two, was now collapsed on the ground and unable to get up, as the old man seemed to be using some kind of power to keep him there.

"I didn't know you could handle chaos magic and the technique of the Thousand Cuts... yes... you are the one."

The old man's habit of thinking aloud became even more evident.

'Who the hell is this old man, how is he so strong, there's no one like him around here, ah... I'm upset.'

"Hey, get up."

Due to his face, which denoted his anger, Jun could not hide that he was clouded because of being defeated, something he believed impossible.

The old man, seeing that Jun was ignoring him, exorted a little bit of strenght to get him out of his thoughts and then spoke.

"Answer me, are you bored?"

"You know the answer old man, it looks like I'll be able to have fun now, though."

"You're funny, i'll give you that, but you wouldn't beat me even if you tried a million times in your current state, you need to grow your strenghts."

"Hey, hey, I have no interest in anything you tell me, leave me alone."

"Let me teach you the history of this world and I'll hear what you have to say later, besides, you don't have much of a choice either."

Resigned, Jun had to swallow his anger and accept the old man's conditions, it was impossible to beat him anyways and, despite the fact that it was boring, Jun did not have a particular hatred towards his life.

"Ah, okay, first release me from whatever you are doing."

"You thought you were invincible and you don't know how to use gravitational magic?"

"I couldn't learn it, there aren't many ways to study different types of magic around here."

"Well, I'll show you the basics, the rest will be up to you."

After getting up, Jun had a training session with the old man, in which he learned the principles of gravitational magic and how to use it, performing short chants in his mind. It turned out to be a magic similar to that of chaos when it came to understanding it, only, with different functions, since chaos works for combat, while gravity forces the user to stay in one place to control a reduced field of space, limiting their ability to fight.

"My head hurts."

As she let out a sigh, the girl with the swords, Xana, stood from the ground with a stunned look and a hand on her head.

"Hey, stay away from the old man, you bastard!"

Noticing a strange scene, she  prepared to fight again, in her eyes, Jun was threatening her master.

Receiving a disinterested look from Jun, who was sitting cross-legged and with a thoughtful gesture, Xana was even more taken aback by the situation.

"Easy, Xana, he will be your new partner, you are lucky, wake up Kup and get ready to train."

"What?!"

After the old man explained the situation more calmly, Xana's head went from having confused thoughts to being irritated due to the sudden turn of events.
