Carter felt a little heartache when he heard Saber’s words but he was comforted by them too. “Saber, let me fight him. I need to get stronger and I feel that it is possible with him.” Carter puts his hand on her shoulder, “I feel that fighting him is more beneficial for me than simply training with you.” Saber glares at Carter. He then proceeds to explain, “It has nothing to do with the ability or strength between the two of you. It is more to intent. Unlike yourself, he has hostile intentions towards me because he is an enemy. While you hold to such intent towards me as I am your master.”

Carter’s word reassured Saber, and she retreated from the battle. Carter then walks towards Iskandar, ready for a rematch. “So King of Conquerors, ready for round two.” Carter runs towards his enemy intending to thrust with his spear. Carter’s moves were easy for Iskandar to see. With his vast experience on the battlefield, Iskandar easily saw through Carter’s attacks. He had control of the rhythm of the battle.

Every slash, every thrust, he saw through it all, and blocks and parries each one of them. Carter noticed that the longer they were fighting, the more he was pushed back. Losing ground against the king shows his inexperience as the king easily grasps the direction of the battle. Carter decided to change his tactics. Carter once again swung his spear, except this time, he had the intention of getting closer.

As he manages to get in close to the king, he parries the strike of the xiphos with his spear and delivers a right hook squarely on Iskandar’s jaw. Then he kicked the king’s shin with a low kick, and knees him in the gut. As he bent down, Carter knees him in the face. Iskandar staggers from the sudden surprise attack. When he got back up, his nose was broken. Iskandar laughs, “That’s more like it Faker. Show me what else you can do. Prove to this king that you have the power to fight against a servant. Show me that you are worthy of wielding our power.”

As Carter and Saber were fighting against Iskandar, Lancer and Eddie were fighting against Nero, “Umu, red lightning man, despite your ability to use speed, you have not managed to even hurt me. Where is your resolve to fight me? Where is your resolve to see this battle, this war to its conclusion? If you can’t even put up a fight against me, then you are not worthy to face me. Your servant Lancer on the other hand has proven her worth in this fight.”

Nero spoke those words after she clashed with Lancer. Flash was having a difficult time fighting a girl without superpowers but can anticipate his attacks. Dissatisfied with his earlier performance, Eddie gets back up and runs around in a circle, and releases a lightning bolt towards Nero as she pushes Lancer away. Nero tosses her sword into the air as the lightning bolt approached.

Attracted to the sword, the lightning bolt struck the sword instead of Nero herself. After the lightning struck the sword, she quickly grabs it and stabs it into the ground releasing the electricity within. “Hmph, you’re finally putting a little more effort into this battle red lightning man.” Nero scoffs at Eddie’s attempt to strike her with lightning.

Lancer twirls her spear before charging at Nero. Nero parries the spear with her sword and slashes Lancer, but Lancer manages to take a few steps backward and avoids the attack. Taking his chance, Eddie quickly runs around Nero and creates a vacuum around her. The vacuum lifts her into the air, and Nero panics.

“Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing? Put me down now Sparky.” Eddie kept running and Nero kept floating in the air. Without her footing, Nero found it difficult to continue the fight. Eddie took this time to signal Lancer, “Lancer, take her down while she lost her footing.” Lancer nods, “Yes master” and charges once again. She runs towards the whirlwind that was keeping her opponent afloat and jumps towards it.

Lancer jumps and thrusts her spear at Nero with all her might. Nero saw the incoming attack and blocks it with her sword. The attack aimed directly at her chest, But Nero was able to block it by placing her sword over her chest. The power behind the attack sent Nero flying into a tree.

The impact from hitting the tree caused Nero to drop her sword. Despite the strong impact, Nero was still strong enough to get back up but just as she was about to get back up, Kara appeared over her. Using her super-strong lung capacity, Kara used her super-breath to freeze Nero to the ground. Nero was frozen under a thick layer of ice and frost, leaving only her head mobile.

Kara’s move to stop Nero infuriated the Roman Emperor. “You, how dare you do this to your Emperor? How dare you place me in such a humiliating position? I’ll show you the might of Rome. You girlie get me out of this. Your emperor commands you.” Despite being frozen and no longer being able to fight, Nero still had her arrogance.

Kara picks up the block of ice that was Nero and continued to freeze the front of her body until she became an ice cube and only her head was left untouched. Nero struggles to move her body but to no avail. “You, remove this block of ice from me. I am your emperor, how dare you do this to me.” Kara clarifies the situation for Nero, “In case you haven’t noticed, this isn’t Rome. Rome fell a long time ago. We aren’t a part of the Roman Empire.”

Nero struggles and denies Kara’s claims, “No, the empire still lives. You only have your current society as a result of Rome. Without our influence, your way of life is not possible.” Kara knew she could not argue with Nero so she stopped trying. She joined Eddie and Lancer and watched as Carter battled Rider.

Carter continued his battle with Rider. Sparks were flying every time they clashed. Sword and spear, slashes went everywhere. Each one aimed to completely disable the other but was unable to. As time went on, Carter became more accustomed to fighting another servant of similar skill.

Iskandar whistles and calls forth his chariot. The space not too far away from them cracked, then broke as two black bulls ran towards the battle between Carter and Iskandar. Iskandar got on his chariot when it arrived and rode forth. The two bulls pull the chariot into the sky as the trees interfered with the momentum the chariot carried.

Iskandar laughs as he rode into the sky, “Come, young man, we’ll settle our battle in the skies. That will be our new battlefield.” Watching as Iskandar rode off and his silhouette became smaller and smaller and he increased his distance. Carter decided to do the same and calls forth Achilles’ chariot. He whistles and the space behind him broke and a chariot was pulled by three horses move at incredible speeds.

Carter got on as it sped by and he also took to the skies.
