The first time I opened my eyes, I was beside my mother and 3 other siblings.

Other than myself, everyone was white colored, even mother.

My siblings were very energetic, playful and competitive. Sadly, I always got leftover milk from mother.

My mother too was more concerned about my other siblings and I often found myself alone.

Later on, I found out that the world is ruled by giants, who are often together and sometimes accompanied by loud beasts, who I often wondered about when observing.

Those giants often fed and played with us, except me that is...

They often stared at me angrily and tried to throw me away.

Why? Did I do something wrong? Why doesn't anyone love me?

Mother refused to answer me, when she later started meeting other strange cats, often missing for long time.

I was desperate to survive and hence had to look far and wide for food.

One certain day, I was away searching for food, when a beast angrily tackled me.

It hurt so much... my mind was becoming hazy...

Sleep threatened to overtake me...

My only thought being... why does everyone hates me...

What did I do wrong...

I was drifting within my thoughts, unable to understand anything, when I was suddenly covered with a warm and pleasant feeling.

Strength seemed to return to my body and my sleepiness waning.

I opened my eyes with much effort, to find out what is happening, when I saw a giant looking at me closely.

He did not seemed angry at me and it felt comfortable with him.

I felt sleepy again, my eyes closing again....

When I woke up again, I found myself in an unfamiliar place. My body now felt great, with no pain at all. I even felt like dancing, if not for the unknown place.

Curiously I looked around and scouted the area. I never saw such a place before...

However, I didn't feel afraid...

After some more searching, I found a giant there. It seemed to be asleep. I also remembered this one. He was there when the beast hit me.

Did he save me?...Why?....Am I at it's place?

Suddenly hunger overcame my curosity, and I started drinking the milk I found earlier.

It was so much... I never had so much milk before... And so sweet too...

Is it the giant's milk? Was he going to drink it?

When I realized, the milk was finished...

Is the giant going to be angry at me?

Feeling afraid and nervous, I started pacing around the room.

Finally, I decided to apologize to the giant. I climbed on top of him and spoke but he didn't wake up.

Gazing at the giant's face, he seemed very nice... I couldn't understand myself...

Was it because he saved me? Or because of the milk?

Maybe because of his eyes, which didn't seem to hate me...

It feels so comfortable on his chest... I don't want to move away...

[Mn..Mn...Mph..]

I woke up hearing strange sounds. Glancing around, I found out that the gentle giant's space has been invaded by two other giants.

Are they going to attack him?

Anger surged within me... Nobody can hurt the gentle giant under my watch... I will protect you gentle giant!

Jumping off him, I bravely faced the two other giants, who were acting crazily.

However when it came to act, my body froze...

I tried my best to threaten them, but my voice only came out as whimpering...

[Meow..]

The two giants were startled and frightened! After a while both of them ran away!

SEE THAT! I WIN!! Nobody hurts gentle giant with me around!!

[Meow!!]

Coming over to the gentle giant, he is still sleeping...

Stupid giant! What if they hurt you! Ah! I can't leave you alone!

I have decided! I will be your protector from now on! NOBODY HURTS MY GENTLE GIANT!!

But...please.. gentle giant... PRAISE ME!!!
