Seeing how Gilgamesh pulled out Ea from the ripple, Carter immediately pulled Saber back and placed her behind him. Carter then changed his form to withstand the incoming attack from the Sword of Rupture. “Imprint... Shielder!” Once again Carter had silver hair and was donned in black and armor while wielding a large cross-shaped shield. Once again, Carter had taken the form of the Knight of the Round Table that protected Camelot’s walls. He had once again taken the form of Sir Galahad.

As Gilgamesh gathers the Winds of Rupture on his sword, the thoughts that went through Carter’s mind was how to best utilize Sir Galahad’s ability. “I have to believe. I have to have conviction. I have to have resolve. I must have an unyielding will.” Just as Gilgamesh was about to unleash the Winds of Rupture upon Carter and Saber, Carter raises his shield and slams it against the ground. “Please, lend me your strength, Sir Galahad. With my True Name revealed, I stand amid disaster. That which heals all wounds and grudges, our glorious homeland. Manifest yourself, Lord Camelot!

Enuma Elish!” When the Winds of Rupture was unleashed, the walls of a castle began forming around Carter. Brick by brick, it started to assemble from the ground up. When it was completely formed, what stood between Carter and the Winds of Rupture was a phantom. It was a phantom manifestation of the kingdom of the Knights of the Round Table.

Its white walls stood tall and firm against all attacks against it, as it defended the kingdom of Camelot. When the Winds of Rupture hit the white walls, it stood firm against it. “I can’t yield. I have to live on. I can’t let him down. I want to achieve our dream together. Please stand firm, and keep us safe behind your walls.”

The Winds of Rupture kept blowing against the walls of Camelot. The enraged king unleashed the full power of Ea intending to collapse the great walls that stood before him and kill the master and servant that dared to sever his hand from his body. As the attack intensified, Carter could feel the pressure forced upon his body by the sheer intensity of the attack. Cuts started appearing on Carter’s arms and body and he began bleeding from the wounds generated from defending against such a powerful attack. “I have to hold on. I won’t fall.”

As Carter affirmed his resolved and strengthened his will, the walls of Camelot grew brighter. It remained standing despite the destructive power directed at it. The clash of wills lasted for a while but eventually it dyed down. When the Winds of Rupture stopped blowing, the walls that protected Carter and Saber disappeared. It had manifested as a phantom of the great kingdom and it disappeared as such.

When the wall disappeared, Carter could see that Gilgamesh was out of breath. Seeing that, Carter knew he was not the only one who was tired. “I guess even using that sword can tire you out King of Heroes. Saber, take the opportunity and strike him fast.” Heeding her master’s command, Saber immediately rushes towards Gilgamesh.

Seeing how Saber was fast approaching, Gilgamesh knew he could not get the chance to use his ultimate Noble Phantasm unless he took care of her first. Wielding Ea, Gilgamesh defended against Saber’s attacks. “Wench, you dare strike at this King as he regains his breath. You will pay for severing my hand.” Because he lost his hand, he had to fend off Saber with a handicap.

As those two were fighting, Carter regained his composure and regulated his breath. Saber had given him enough of a breather to catch a second wind. “Imprint... Archer!” Carter decided to finish the battle as quickly as possible. He knew he could not defend against the devastating might of the Winds of Rupture a second time. He decided that it was time to active it.

Carter places his hand on his arm and sees the blood from the wound caused by blocking Ea. Carter then raises his fist, and he begins chanting, “I am the bone of my sword. Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over a thousand blades. Unknown to death. Nor known to life. Have withstood pain to create many weapons. So, as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works!!

When carter finished chanting, their surroundings changed. They were no longer on the island, instead, they were in a vast plain. The plain was littered with an uncountable number of swords all around. If one were to look up, they would see that the sky was orange as if the sun was setting, and it was filled with dark clouds. Beyond the horizon, a person could see large gears slowly spinning. The words best used to explain the atmosphere of the new location would be, sad, dreary, and depressing.

Gilgamesh continued to clash swords with Saber as he was brought to the new location. “This is what you have up your sleeve mongrel, a Reality Marble. A Reality Marble full of pale imitations." Gilgamesh managed to get the upper hand in their final clash, and he launched a weapon at Saber. She was hit in the stomach and sent flying back to her master. “Faker, I’ll show you the true might of these treasures, Gate of Babylon!”

More ripples started appearing around Gilgamesh, but just as they came out, they were blown away. As he was gloating, Gilgamesh finally saw what had happened. When Carter raised his hand, several of the swords that were stuck in the ground, dislodged themselves and floated in mid-air before flying towards the weapons that came out of the ripples.

Despite the injuries that he sustained while defending against Gilgamesh’s Enuma Elish and his previous bout against the king, Carter still held on. “Even though they’re only an imitation, that doesn’t mean they couldn’t go up against the original. EMIYA did not just want to create copies of the weapons used by past heroes. He wanted to create weapons that could surpass them.”

Gilgamesh scoffs, “Your words are just the final ramblings of a fool.” As Gilgamesh taunted Carter, he began collecting the Winds of Rupture once again. Seeing this, Carter knew he needed to retaliate with the strongest sword EMIYA ever crafted using this power. Carter stood tall with both his hands over his chest and a sword began materializing in his hands.

The sword that appeared was first invisible. It was unseen to the naked eye. The invisible sword was then enveloped in a golden light, making it visible for all to see. When the light dispersed, a beautiful sword was now in Carter’s hands. “I know you are a mere imitation of the original and you only possess a fragment of the original’s power but please, lend me your strength, oh great Sword of Promised Victory. Please, lend me your strength, oh King of Knights.” A beam of golden light was released by the sword.  The beam stretched all the way into the clouds. With the beam piercing the clouds, Carter swings the sword downwards. “Excalibur!!

As Carter was about to unleash the last bit of his power in one final strike, a voice deep within a vast dark emptiness spoke. “Papa, Illya will lend you her strength!”

Seeing how Carter was about to unleash a last-ditch effort to win, Gilgamesh stopped gathering the Winds of Rupture and unleashed it on Carter. The two powers clashed with neither side giving in. Using the last bit of power, the clash moved to and fro between them, when suddenly a sudden burst of power tipped the balance. The energy unleashed from Carter intensified and pushed back the Winds of Rupture. Gilgamesh was hit with the full force of the clash. When the attack finally hit, it resulted in a huge explosion.
