“To put it simply” I start

“how about you break all this shit down for me?” I say.

“How the fuck did you expect me to digest all this information at once. Plus, I have questions.” I say.

“Ask away,” Said the woman.

“First off, How am I a bug, Second explain to me in detail how and an exact date of when the earth will be attacked, and finally, explain to me the purpose of selection,” I say.

“Whoa. I never expected a human to ask such in-depth questions. Usually, I get stupid questions like Can I get some OP drops before I go or I just have them freak the fuck out on me. You will not believe the number of idiots there are.” She says.

“Anyways, To answer your first question, you died just as you were being selected. Therefore the system got confused about what to do so you're neither dead nor alive. Luckily, this is an easy fix. You can either die and receive your judgment, or continue to selection. Does that make sense?” She asked.

“Pretty much” I reply.

“For your second question: The attack will occur in 2 years, on December 25. I will start in Japan, then Korea, then Mexico, and then England. The rest are unknown,” she says.

“Fuck. On Christmas especially. That's fucked up” I say.

“For your last question, The purpose of this exam is to prepare all the selected participants to prepare for the upcoming assault. They will be transported to a world with hellish conditions and the surviving people will return to earth to fight.” She says.

“Fuck. Does that mean I'm gonna have to fight in another world?" I say.

“Hahaha no.” She said,

“Because you died during the selection you will have to compete in a death game to see if you can participate in the actual training.” She said,

“Explain to me why the fuck I have to participate in a death game before I go to the other world which is also basically, a death game?!” I explain, pissed off.

“I don’t know. I don’t make the rules.” She said.

“Can you at least give me some sort of perk before I enter the death game?” I ask.

“You know what, sure, why not. I’ll give you a perk. What do you want?” She asked.

“You're gonna offer me a perk. Are there no rules against that?” I ask.

“There are rules against that if you were going to the other world for the actual training. Since you're doing a death game first, there’s no problem,” she said.

“Then I want the ability to grant myself abilities,” I say.

“Absolutely not. I said make it reasonable.” She replies,

“No you did not,” I say.

“Shut up, I did,” She says.

“Whatever. Then I want the ability to steal other abilities.” I say.

“That's doable, but there will need to be restrictions.” She replies.

“Like what?” I ask.

“You can only steal the abilities of someone you kill.” She says.

“But why someone I kill?” I ask.

“Because I said so. Suck it up,” she says.

“Well fuck you too” I reply.

“I can give you one other ability, but if I do, everyone else participating in the game will get one at random.” She says.

“Sure. Give me the ability to create my own private space. Like a void.” I say.

“Uhh, ok. That's it? Kinda lame.” she said.

“I assume you can gain new abilities throughout the death game” I inquired.

“Ya but it's rare. Ability unlocks are more common in the other world,” she replies.

“So I'll just gain new abilities in the other world,” I say.

“Bold of you to assume you're gonna survive,” she says with a smirk.

“I’m confident,” I say.

“Then let's get you to the death game. It will take a total of 30 days. Then the remaining survivors will be teleported to the other world where they will survive the remaining 23 months of training to save your world. And since we are not monsters, we explained the situation going on to earth and there is a leaderboard with your names on it and your status so if you die, your families will know.” she explains.

“I'm teleporting you now. Good luck, I'm rooting for you.” I’m blinded by a light and am transported to a room where I see a fuck ton of people.

“Well, shit,” I say.

This is going to be harder than I thought.
