After a few moments, Eika had wandered into the street from around the corner. Noticing V, she ran over "Hey! You should rest!" Luna followed behind Eika, her fox tail waving back and forth in the wind that was blowing down the street. "Should we tell the Alice lady? She said to make sure the people with lots of wounds don't move..." Eika ignored Luna's question for the moment, instead hurrying over to help V. "You can lean on me! Or... maybe not." Eika tried to find a way to support V, but she was far too short to support his shoulders and grabbing his waist was not helpful, especially considering his wounds in the area. V patted Eika's head, "It’s alright. Just make sure I don't trip over anything. I will absolutely fall." V began to shamble forward, avoiding the various city folk laid out. Now that he was standing, he was able to get an idea on just how many people the Champion of Good had been caring for; poor folk, nobleman, children, all types lay on the ground in various states of injury.

"Is The Champion of Good doing all of this alone?" Luna shook her head happily, "No! We are helping of course!" She tilted her head "subtly" toward V. Rolling his eyes, he patted Luna's head as well, avoiding her fluffy ears. Although he had no real reason to, he always tried to avoid touching either Eika's rabbit ears or Luna's fox ears. Eika sighed and explained further "Although we are helping, Alice has a few other people with her. I do not think they are champions though..." Eika rubbed the back of her head as she continued "Also uh, sometimes there are ghosts that help? Like, bright... glowing ghosts?" V spoke through gritted teeth as pain shot through his shoulder. "Ghosts? Do they talk? What exactly do they help with?" Eika shrugged, "I never tried to talk with one, but they never seem to notice me if I am around when they... appear. Eika thinks that they help with easy tasks. Like carrying materials or food. Once I saw them carrying someone who did not survive..." Eika fell silent for a few moments. A silence which Luna was eager to fill. "Ya! The ghosts only appear sometimes. I saw one suddenly appear like "Woosh!" when someone rolled off of their little sheet bed thing. It rolled the sick person back on, and they disappeared like "woshashshsha"" Luna was making incomprehensible hand movements as he spoke.

V had asked the girls to lead him to where L was, he figured it would be prudent to check up on her. Perhaps his blessing would do something to aid her. Luna and Eika did their best to help V navigate the "hospital." Frequent breaks made their pace slow, even walking a street or two over was an arduous journey for V in his current state. He had to find a way to recover quicker, otherwise he suspected he would not be part of the God's Game for much longer. As they shuffled through the street, Eika pointed at a man whose face was entirely  covered in bandages. "Alice says that guy is a champion, but we don't know of what. He was only awake once as far as Eika knows, and it was mostly just a bunch of screaming and moaning. He uh..." Eika's face turned a few shades paler as she trailed off. Luna happily picked up Eika's thought for her "The man did not really have a face! I felt bad for him, it looked like it hurt like crazy. My face got hurt once when I fell when running away from a dog in an alleyway. It hurt a lot, so the man was probably in a lot of pain. The nice lady, Alice, says she is not sure if he is going to be able to see again after he heals. Also he was poisoned or something. I don't remember." As V passed him, he briefly considered the risk vs reward of just stabbing the man through the head. Considering all of the evidence he so far had encountered, even at full strength he would not be able to take on the Champion of Good, and he doubted she would take kindly to that particular action.

"The Champion of Good said there were three other champions here. Where are the other two?" Eika nodded "Ya, turns out the guy everyone was calling the crafting champion is the Champion of the Hearth. He is over there somewhere." Eika waved vaguely in the other direction as she explained "He is looking rough. He is conscious sometimes, but according to Alice she has no idea how he is alive. She pulled a dagger out of his heart, and a bunch of other weapons besides." Luna happily chimed in "Ya! He reminded me of a pincushion when the kind lady, Alice, brought him in." Eika nodded weakly "Like a much much worse version of how Eika looked when you saved me from the statue garden..." After a few moments she continued talking "Well... anyway... The last champion is a woman, we also do not know what she is the champion of... but Eika knows she has ice powers, so she might be the ice champion or something. She is missing her left arm, and left eye. Burns covered most of her body, Alice is not sure if she will recover." They traveled in silence for a few more minutes. The only sound being V's pained noises, as well as the occasional moan or grunt from the wounded in the area.

Two streets over, V saw L's body. She was placed slightly further away from everyone else and a man V had never seen before was kneeling next to her, changing a bandage on her head. "Do you know that guy?" V asked Luna and Eika. Luna shook her head, but Eika explained "Not really, but we know he goes around changing bandages all the time." Luna followed up "Ya maybe we do know him... I will call him the bandage man! He helps people a lot." As they approached L, the man finished his task, stood up, bowed his head to them and left without a word. Shrugging, V lacked the energy to try and figure out more about the man, he assumed the Champion of Good would not have someone questionable working for them. V struggled to kneel next to L in order to examine her. Eika and Luna assisted him, or rather Luna hindered while Eika assisted. After he got closer, he was able to examine the state of her body. Most of her skin was covered in frostbite, but the other more minor wounds she had received during the cursed night had already healed. That was weird, it appeared as if her regeneration skill was not working at all in regards to the frostbite. In fact, they looked as if it had not healed at all. He carefully held his hand near L's body. The air around her appeared to still be slightly cooler than one would expect. V furrowed his brow, that made even less sense.

Luna stared at L for a few moments, L's unconscious form reflected in her eyes. Her ears flicked a few times, as if something annoying had landed on them. "I don't think she is going to wake up without help." Luna spoke quietly, but her voice carried absolute certainty in it. Eika looked at her "Well how do we help?! What's wrong with her?" Eika sounded a little desperate, V assumed the last... however long it had been, had been rough on her. Helping all the sick and dying, including him and L, as well as caring for Luna. In fact, she showed a great fortitude in being able to handle so much right after her own troubling adventure during the cursed night. V considered Luna's words as he examined L. He did not have any way to reliably use his blessing, if he simply willed "Activate!" the highest likelihood was that nothing happened. There was also the chance that something bad or otherwise detrimental happened, and finally a minor chance that something slightly beneficial would occur. Neither he nor L could handle the "detrimental" outcome right now. He also considered ordering her to wake up, but again, there was no reason to believe that would be helpful. What if her body attempted to carry out the order and force her awake, but because of her state, resulted in her body just expending more energy than it had available, resulting in death?

As V sat there, trying to get a grasp on L's situation, as well as conceive of some way to help, The Champion of Good walked up from behind them. "I have seen nothing like her condition before. She seems to be emitting a consistent chill around her. Although it is not strong, it is one of the reasons I placed her at the edges of this sanctuary. I don't suppose you know anything about her that might help?" V shook his head "Not exactly..." V waved his hand near L's body a few times as he spoke. "She was not like this before the events of the cursed night. The air I mean." The Champion of Good nodded "Your companions told me as much. Unfortunately, that information did little to help me treat her." V nodded and furrowed his brow, trying to figure out what was going on, and how to solve it. While he thought on the matter, he checked The Champion of Good's status, Eika had mentioned she did not hide most of it.

The Champion of Good waited a moment as V obviously checked her status. "Before you ask, I gained The Silent God's Blessing when I killed the Silent God's champion. He was an assassin, so I assume that the Silent God was the God of Assassination. As for my name, I do not recognize whatever name the Gods have forced upon me. Whether it was truly once my name or not. I have taken the name of my mother, Alice, and will only respond to such, so I have hidden what they have called me." She pointed a little ways off, to the end of the street. "This is as far as this place of safety goes. Once you step past there I will no longer be able to effectively protect you. I would recommend staying inside the barrier until you can fight. There are more than a few champions prowling the borders." V nodded, it sounded as if this place was warded somehow, either by her blessing, or by some ability her level seventeen class held. That helped explain how they had not been killed yet, although by her own words, it was not an invincible barrier.

"I cannot stay long, many need my attention, but if you know a way to revive your companion, I will assist you." V shook his head "Not exactly, but I'm curious as to why she is cooling the air around her. As you were told, that is not a normal feature for her. Her body seems otherwise normal, if damaged. I am wondering if she is still fighting, or rather, her body is. Perhaps her physical form continues to expend energy it no longer has to keep the fight going." V drew close to L's ear, the cool air washing over his face. "Your duty has been carried out. The Champion of Violence is dead, my- the emperor's decree has been fulfilled." V was unsure if her body could respond if she herself was unconscious in some fashion, but he had no other ideas, and it's not like testing this one was difficult.

The effect however, was quite immediate. "Move! She is going into cardiac arrest!" Alice gently, but firmly, pushed V out of the way. Waves of pain traveled through his body as she pushed him. He watched L's body seize, jerking irregularly, perhaps he had made a mistake. Alice's already slightly luminous eyes were now outright glowing. "Eika, quickly! Go collect my assistant, the elvish lady. She should be near the gates. Hurry! Tell her we need her assistance immediately." Eika ran off on all fours, bolting like only a rabbit could. Alice ripped the binding they had placed on L's chest over top the frostbite, and started compressions, performing CPR. V was concerned for L, but even so, he could not help feel that this situation was a little surreal, watching a woman with glowing eyes, preforming CPR on a woman who was ostensibly a demon having a heart attack of some type. "I don't know if she is going survive. I do not have the tools to fix V-fib. We are going to have to improvise." Alice continued compressions on L's chest as she muttered. "In some ways, I wish she had a lower constitution rank, based on the difficulty I am having compressing her chest, it has to be at-least an A, maybe even an S" V had noticed that Alice was using a large amount of force in her attempt to keep L's heart pumping.

L "floated" in the darkness alone, considering the God of Honors words. Suddenly it felt like she had slammed into a brick wall. She could sense something happening to her body, but it was unclear what exactly was going on. As she struggled to gain some semblance of understanding, a vision of her body appeared before her. Although strange, L took it in stride. Supposedly she was in a place that did not really exist, was it really surprising that she could have weird visions while here? It seemed as if a huge woman was molesting her chest while her body jerked awkwardly. V was laying off slightly to the side, a concerned and pained expression on his face. L suspected she was dying; her skin was covered in frostbite and she looked pale. Although she was unsure as to what the musclebound woman was doing to her, she assumed she was trying to help. Her body was bandaged and laying on a sort of bed after all. She doubted a foe would have taken those steps.

L's body continued to convulse as Alice worked to keep her alive. Eika came running back, a female elf following her. Alice spoke to her as she arrived "We are going to need to shock her. There is no other way." The female elf looked panicked "Are you certain? You know I cannot always control the power correctly..." Alice firmly commanded her, "If you accidentally kill her it does not matter because she is going to die anyway. You can do it, just take a deep breath and concentrate." The elf closed her eyes, breathing deeply before raising her right hand. Sparks started alighting between her open fingers. Alice removed her hands from L and took a single step backward. After a moment the Elf women placed her hand on L's chest. A clapping noise, sort of like thunder, emanated from the woman's hand. Smoke arose from L's chest as the skin under the elf women's hand took on a red color. Alice shook her head "Again!" The elf women furrowed her brow, and L's body jerked again as her hand thundered once more.

Watching from the in between, L could not comprehend what the two women were doing to her body. After a few more moments of their strange actions, the elf women took a few steps away and her hid face. The large women shook her head and slammed her fist on the cobblestone street. She then stood up and bowed to V, speaking to him. V's face took on an expression of disappointment, frustration, and a small amount of anger. L realized what must have happened. She must have died.
