The lady at the counter saw the two finishing up with their registration, she explained, "I can see that the two of you are beginner adventurers. I suggest you do not dive too deep in the Kilmor dungeon, although it is a low-rank dungeon, a lot of beginner adventurers have died by overestimating their skills." The lady looked around the surroundings before leaning on the counter and beckoning the two to do the same.

Max and Lyla also leaned in the counter table as they waited for the lady to talk, "You might be hiding your identities, but it would be better to change your disguise, your looks might give the people the misconception that you are members of a terrifying cult." The lady who has finished her speech sat straight back on her seat and looked proud of herself as if she has given her juniors a lifelong lesson that they can use for the rest of their lives.

Max drop his shoulders when he heard the lady's piece of advice, while Lyla was trembling under the cloak, trying her best not to chuckle as to not hurt Max's feelings.

They walked out of the guild building. Max was murmuring, "This looks cool, why can't they see that."

As they were walking away the lady at the front desk thought, "They might be nobles, their hands looked soft and without callouses. I hope they don't die in the dungeon, a lot of nobles have been diving in the dungeons, thinking that it's easy."

A person from behind the counter was also observing the two as they entered. He had a glint in his eyes while the two were having their conversation with the guild assistant. As the two walked away, he disappeared in the shadows at the same time no one was able to notice his presence.

The dungeon that Max and Lyla were going to was well known in the capital. It served as a hunting ground for adventurers since it was discovered. History books would tell tales about how the kingdom formed due to this dungeon. That's how most cities are formed, people gathered near a dungeon as it is a good source of resources. The people living in this world have been highly dependent on the usage of the cores as an energy source that supplies most of their day to day living necessities. They serve as batteries if comparing it with earth's resources.

It would take approximately 15 to 20 minutes by walking. Considering how big the capital is, you can see that it is still located inside the city proper. It was made this way in order for the kingdom to control and keep track of the number of people entering the dungeons.

The kingdom of Aurelia is widely known as the avid believer of the Goddess of Light. The demon race is considered their mortal enemy, hence, Lyla's identity should be kept a secret or they will purge her for the sake of the Goddess of Lights name. Other races have been accepted through time, but any race having darkness as their main attributes are considered evil abominations.

Max knowing this did not want Lyla to accompany him in becoming an adventurer, however, Lyla herself did not want to leave Max's side. Considering Lyla has only awakened her traits and is unable to control it, Max decided that if something happens, they will not take any risks and instead run away.

Although it would have been faster if they ran, they did not want to look conspicuous as the way is filled with people.

Lyla, on the other hand, was surveying the surroundings she had the feeling that they were being followed ever since they left the building. It might have been a feeling but she did not want to risk it.

"Max, there are people following us." Lyla whispered to Max.

"There are 6 people who have been eyeing us, they are hiding in this sea of people. 2 people are further away, one is hiding beside a pillar while the other one is very good at hiding his presence. I can sense his movements but he keeps on changing his location once my senses lock on this place." Max said calmly without any hint of his childish excitement while they were in the adventurer's guild.

Lyla was amazed by how Max was able to determine the locations of their followers. Although she was able to feel some presences, she was not able to determine their exact location. This made her feel that she has underestimated Max's ability.

They continued walking surrounded by the sea of people. They got closer to the dungeon's entrance. It was known as Kilmors dungeon, one need to have their adventurer's identification crystal on their person in order to enter. The entrance has a spell matrix that prevents non-adventurers to enter and in turn blocks the monsters from rampaging outside of the dungeon. It is widely used in this world, it secures the safety of the people living in the vicinity of the dungeons.

They entered unobstructed as they were sent to the first level of the dungeon, as it turns out, although there were a lot of people that entered at the same time, they would be transported to different locations if they do not enter together. The surrounding was dark, the only light source was the moss that covered the walls that give off their own light, and the way was about 2 meters while the ceilings were high.

The first floor of the dungeon was well documented as many people have been able to get pass this level without any problems. Most of the monsters were rabbit like monsters with red eyes, their eyes looked sinister in this dark space, their teeth and claws are razor sharp. Although they are weak when they're alone, these monsters prefer to move in groups.

Max and Lyla's plan was to move ahead to the deeper floors as these monsters will not serve as any experience with their training. One must reach the center of the floor and find the crystal teleportation matrix to move to the next floor. If one wants to leave the dungeon, there are also relay points that are found that directly sends you outside of the dungeon. The guild also made a guild outpost for the safety of the people who exit the dungeon. Healers and appraisers are designated in the outposts to take care of any event that might be necessary for the adventurers.
