What happened to all the chapters
1) Westerners rarely know about webnovels AND culture of reading webnovels =not mainstream. Lot people probably still think "novels = books in library". Meanwhile earlier 2012, jp had webnovels starting and known to otakus AND china had no manga companies yet so they focused webnovels heavily
2) Different group users, biggest = anime watchers (millions or billions?) then manga readers, and last, low number "novel readers"
3) Authenticity
Same reason humans prefer a JP chef for sushi restaurant

Simply go danbooru or pixiv and pick a good one (also not forgetting to ask AND/OR writing in summary that "it doesn't belong to me" + "will remove if the creator ever request it"

"Shipcore" novel's cover at least you see the cool military uniform
This one ? A person looking at clouds ? = could be a building glass elevator / a sick patient / a poor person at bottom like Jinx looking at painting, etc

Go check the VERY (ex)popular "HADES" indie game
Probably you heard long ago "Binding of Isaac" indie game about it's huge success despite being small right ? Welp, watching "Hades" on youtube (the early beginning) will allow you to see how this game succeeded to dethrone it as number1 indie game
Conclusion of all : internet is now full of teens full of hormones
Also i recommend the masterpiece "Coeus?" from the very popular royalroad author "Andur"
It will allow you to see in more details what crave nowadays readers
