From what i saw, it probably is because of donation links like patreon being banned from fan fictions.

On the New Webnovel
Early writing has begun. Mostly notes. Following the poll, it will be a xianxia webnovel. Currently learning the setting and what its core elements are other than just cultivation. Also Chinese naming conventions which is apparently also quite complex. Will start posting the webnovel on New Year and hopefully I can portray the setting well.
You can use western type names, I do not mind and probably lots of people wont.
