I completely understand where you're coming from! Accidentally clicking the rating button can definitely lead to a moment of surprise. Unfortunately, as of my last update in September 2021, most platforms don't allow users to undo or remove their own ratings

It's a common concern, though, and I hope that platforms will consider adding such a feature in the future. In the meantime, please know that giving your own work a thumbs-up isn't narcissistic; it's more a reflection of your pride in your creation.

Your fanfiction is undoubtedly a result of your dedication and creativity, so there's nothing wrong with showing it a little appreciation. Keep up the excellent work and don't let the accidental rating mishap deter you – your writing is valued by your readers!
