The more I think about it, the more I re-read it, the more I want to re-write Ch. 50 of CoE. It does the job it needed to, but compared to what it COULD be...let's just say it SHOWS that I jammed it out literally minutes before my self-imposed New Year's Eve deadline.

I think I'll rewrite it to get myself back in the groove for CoE.

Been quiet here, and for that I'm sorry, and I'm afraid to say it may extend for a bit longer. Initially it was simply because I'd caught a really bad cold at the same time as I had a major schedule change at work, but just as I was getting my feet under me with that, I got news that one of my friends died. She was a mentor to me for years and touched MILLIONS of lives in ways I only wish I could. (And I'm not exaggerating.)

Just put the finishing touches on Ch. 61. Per my usual process, I'll be reviewing what I wrote tomorrow morning before posting it out.

I got some bad news earlier this week that knocked me out of my creative spaces, and then when I got back into the zone (surprisingly easy these days) I finished the scene I thought was going to fill out the chapter...only to discover I had a good ways to go to get to my minimum 4k words.

Still working on ch. 61, bear with me on this.

After some delays, I'm back in Code of Ethics. Chapter 61 is about 60% done and I expect to post it no later than Wednesday.

On the plus side, I'm doing better. Still a bit achy in the neck and shoulders and my throat is still sore, but the headache is gone and my appetite's back. Writing should resume shortly.

Alright, after a few delays from burnout and scheduling issues, I've managed to get chapter 60 scheduled for a release next Monday. This marks the start of the next mini-arc and I think everyone will enjoy it, especially if you're more interested in the smaller-scale interpersonal drama stories than the big epics or the last mini-arc's 'The Heist' style spy-grade suspense.

Had to go pick up my CPAP machine today, which resulted in me having to run all over town to find some distilled water. Somehow 3 out of four stores were fully out.

Ch. 60 is about half done and is turning out pretty good. I'll finish the other half and get it posted (hopefully) tomorrow before I have to run errands all evening.
