For anyone wondering: Yes I'm alive. Yes, I'm still writing.

There's just a lot of ideas constantly hitting my head, and with how Hikaru turned out, I don't think I'd release anything I write until a story is finished. But I've picked out two that I'm still interested in and want to try completing. They're both different from what I've previously written, so idk if people who followed me will like it, but I'm sticking to them for now. (Though I'm too scared to make any promises lol)

Decided to swap focus to one of the other stories I was developing instead and released its first chapter next weekend

I know this is prolly because I have followers now, but it's crazy to see the reception to Crossdressing Friend compared to All of Me's first few chapters. Like wow, 26 favorites and 80 readers? I think it took more than 10 chapters for one of them to get up to 25 favorites last time. And those are a lot of readers! Just from a single chapter too, within a week, could you imagine?

Anyway, Chapter 2 drops in about an hour! Chapter 3 is also done however and I want to finish Chapter 4 today too.

Fair warning if my last status update didn't clear it up: The new series won't be released at anywhere near the same pace as All of Me (at least, not for a while.) I'm not 10 chapters ahead like with that one, I'm only writing the third as of right now. I'm also just plain busier these next couple of weeks than I was back then. It's gonna be weekly releases of short chapters until I feel comfortably ahead enough.

I'm not far ahead with it, but I have a new idea that I've been stewing on for a few weeks, and I thiiink I might just release the first chapter today or tomorrow :3 

It's a little different, but it's the premise I've been the most invested in since All of Me. And I think starting to post a little early will help with my motivation a bit. 

Waiting for these last few chapters to drop is actually killing me.

Why did I have to decide on an arbitrary wait?! I want people to see the end of the story already! 

Just about a week to go, soon I will be released!

I feel like people might not end up liking the recent chapter, because of how frustrating tropes like this can be in media. And like I can't blame people but also lmao hang in there, just a few more chapters to go. 

Me: "Wow, story's long done, finally satisfied with editing it, just a few more chapters to be released... It feels like I can finally put this project behind me and move on..."

Also me: "Okay but what if there was a story about ______ where ____ and _____"

Me: "...Oh whoops I looked away for a second and chapter 1 is done. Guess we'll see if this goes anywhere."

Current status for All of Me:

IT IS DONE!

HUZZAH! HURRAY!

I still need to revise things, look over chapters again and again as I put them up on scribblehub and prep them for their eventual release.

But the full story itself? Donezo, at a bit over 100k words. 30 Chapters including Prologue and Epilogue.

I'll leave proper author thoughts in the Epilogue whenever that's released, but thanks to everyone who's been reading and motivating me to finish! Please look forward to the rest of the story!

Is there a place people usually go to for cover art or something?
A part of me feels awkward still having the default one, but it's also not like I have any better ideas if I randomly went up to someone to commission something. I almost kinda like the simple serene waterfall look, but I also know it isn't really fitting lol.

First draft of chapter 18 is 5.5k words.

Jfc I have no idea how but it feels like they just keep getting longer. And here I had decided to make chapters 10 and 11 separate because that was the first time I somehow reached over 5k. 4k-5k has suddenly just felt like the norm for a while now.

If by chance anyone is curious, everything up to Chapter 10 of 'All of Me' is done. The current plan is to release chapters every 3-7 days as I finish writing the rest, depending on chapter lengths and the kind of mood I'm in. Maybe it'll change as I continue, who's to say?
