"The night does not frighten me—it inspires me."

I write under the pen name Quill & Graphite, an echo of my two passions: the written word and the drawn sketch. By day, I capture form and detail in sketches; by night, I give breath to stories spun from silence. Both are art forms of precision and patience, and together they shape the worlds I create.

My stories lean toward the darker paths—where romance is tangled with danger, where choices cut deep, and where shadows speak louder than light. I’m drawn to the elegance of romantasy and dark romance, genres where love is a blade and a balm, where beauty blooms even in broken places.

In every piece I create, my hope is to leave a lingering mark: a moment, a phrase, or a character that stays with you long after the last page is turned, like the ghost of a sketch smudged into memory.

I've started writing a fantasy romance novel named "Assassin's Heart." Will be dropping new chapters every Tuesday and Friday (unless I face any difficulties). I hope you enjoy it!

I went crazy for your Boodstained Fairytales; so ingeniously and devilishly plotted. I just wish they'd been longer! *^^* There was so much you could have done with these.

Oh, thank you so much!

I also got another message from a reader that each of the stories could be expanded into a novel. I will try to do so since the book is gaining some reader interest. When I first wrote it, it was only intended to be some short story project for fun which I did not expect would find any reader interest, but here we are. Perhaps I could try writing the stories as novellas (which might be of around 15K-17K words) so readers could enjoy it.

I wouldn't necessarily make them full novels per se, but certainly maybe, hmm, 10k-15k word stories for sure. The Moana tale, for example, you could have done so much with that, because of the setting, her dreams, she could speak to her grandmother about them, maybe events happen that cause a chain reaction - or a slow-burn that leads to her becoming the monstrous ocean at the end.  *^^*

Hello, Scribble Hub! clear.png

I’m QuillandGraphite, a new author here. I write dark romance and romantasy—tales where love cuts deep, shadows whisper secrets, and every ending lingers in memory. I hope my words find readers who enjoy wandering through mysterious worlds, who linger over emotions as sharply as a quill etches ink on paper. I’m looking forward to connecting with fellow storytellers and readers, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
