Okay, so an update. Any further uploads are delayed due to severe electrical issues at my home. Everything's constantly flickering and dimming like there's not enough power to go around, and I don't feel safe turning on my computer because I don't want it to get damaged. (I fear it already is, but I can't be too sure.)
So... I didn't mean for another impromptu hiatus, but there may not be any uploads until after next week. It just depends on what the issue is and how long it'll take to get fixed. I'm still writing, though, on my phone. So content is being made. It's just content isn't being edited or published.
Safety is most important. Nothing else matters if you don't stay safe.
Oh yeah, definitely. I'm not taking a risks when it comes to electrical issues.
I was wondering why don't you have petreon or something. You are probobly keeping chapteters in the back that you could release ahead of time and also get some support from people.
I like having an entire Arc ready to go, from beginning to end, because I'm always making changes that are sometimes pretty major and can require a pretty hefty rewrite. And I'm not confident I can keep a steady schedule.
I don't think you need to think about this like you put stuff that is fully edited. Just put it out for people to kind of see what you are up to before release and in a way to be able to support while seeing unedited stuff and also being able to earn some money just by writing.
I guess you could just put a warning that this is draft and not final release or something there is stuff you can come up with. Though I could see it being a bit of a problem trying to manage 2 sites, but then again are you just writing as a hobby?
The writing is just a hobby. It's something I do in my spare time. I just don't think the stresses or potential burnout of managing a patreon is worth it.
I'm sorry, but Chapter 76 of Chimeric Ascension will be delayed for a day or two. Maybe a little longer because it needs a little bit more time in the Editing Oven.

Arc 4.1 of Chimeric Ascension is finished! I put the finishing words on it this morning, and I shall start editing it. The releases will be slow. Maybe 1x a week for a bit while I get a backlog going. But it's here! It's 258k words, from Chapter 65 to 96, with a handful of intermissions sprinkled throughout.
So I just discovered "The Chimeric Ascension of Lyudmila Springfield" and noticed something that bothers me. It features an awful lot of explicit sex but does not have the "Smut" tag.
I just wanted to bring it to your attention, given the frequency with which those scenes occur you might want to consider adding the tag.
Crap, I thought it did. My bad, I'll go and add it.
Chimeric Ascension Update - 32,483 words (Two intermissions and Chapter Sixty-Five) have been edited out of 197,664. I'll upload the first chapter of Arc 4 on Wednesday of next week as a preview. Then perhaps the first of Quella's intermissions. I know it's been a while, but I'm close to being done.
Chimeric Ascension Update - 185k words. Getting throught the last of the intermissions. Hit a small snag with some things not exactly working out, but those are fixed. Now, I might upload the first chapter in a week or two. It's in three parts, and it can act like an early preview.
Chimeric Ascension Update: I'm at 160k words, and 5 intermissions are done. I have 2 or 3 more left to do, then a few more editing passes to flesh out a few chapters, and then one or two overall editing passes. Arc 4 has seriously grown a lot in complexity way more than I had intended.

That's the plan. I want to have I:SS on Mondays and Thursdays, and CA on Tuesdays and Fridays. The chapter word counts might be smaller than usual to compensate for the additional releases, though.
Dragon Milf? Yes, one does show up in Arc 4. I can confirm that. Might be in the latter half of it, though. But one most definitely makes an appearance.

Update for Arc 4 of Chimeric Ascension: I am at 133k words, and I have started on the handful of intermissions. For reference, the first Quella Intermission is 12k words long split across 3 parts. I have 4-5 more to write, but they won't be nearly as long.
Update for Arc 4 of Chimeric Ascension! I'm at 117k words and about 2-3 chapters away from being done with part 1 of Arc 4. But it will need a heavy dose of editing, so I cannot say when it will come out. I'm still working hard and putting the hours in, though.
Just hit 100k words for Arc 4 of Chimeric Ascension. It's going to be split into two since it's longer than I thought.

Yay! Chimeric Ascension Arc 4 has passed 75k words! Honestly, I'm thinking about splitting it into two because because there is a lot to cover. It'll allow me to upload it sooner, but I'm still undecided.
If I do split it into half, then I'm like 77% percent or so done with the first half.

There will be a double upload on Monday, then daily until Friday. After that, I will publish 2x a week on Monday and Thursday.
For Chimeric Ascension, I am up to 64k words. Things are progressing very well for both stories!
Another small update: Everything up until half of Chapter 18 of Interconnected: Spliced Souls has been edited. I'm still making good progress.
