While I see you are working on other stuff rn, will there ever be a sequel to Origin Seeker? I just finished it, and that ending hit hard. It would be interesting to see a story placed in the world after. Perhaps someone reincarnated from Dream’s False Reality into the “True Reality”? Just throwing ideas, cause your writing has got so much better since then. Love your writing, keep up the good work!
Oh goodness. A sequel to OS? I think I would sooner do side stories, and while I haven't given it much thought, I wouldn't say it's not possible. It would definitely come later though. I'm pretty invested in my Amercian Isekai series

Number 1: The .30-06 was copied from Germany. The original .30-03 was round tipped, but the .30-06 got a pointed tip just after Germany made pointed tip rounds. Number 2: The bolt mechanism of the Springfield were ripped from the Mauser style bolts. Number 3: The stripper clips of the Springfield were copies from Mauser.
Yes, it's true that US weapons copied many things from others. Bolts, bolt releases, safeties, feeding systems, ejection systems, sight mounting systems, and more. Every country was seeing all these weapons being made and they were trying to take the best aspects of several different systems in order to create something much better and more convenient to operate. I don't really thing that takes points off though. It's just engineering. Can't expect complete innovative overhauls so often
Yes, but the M1903 and it's clips were so similar to the Mauser designs that the US government was sued for a quarter of a million dollars by Mauser. The spitzer rounds were also copied, with them being made by the Germans in 1904, and the .30-06 being made in 1906.
True. You wonder how that even works too. Fighting world wars while simultaneously turning around and suing a foreign superpower for patent infringements. I get they're private companies but I still find it humorous that such things would even be taken seriously.
