I'm an Alaskan author that loves making stories to share with other people. I started as a Dungeon Master in D&D, and now I'm a writer, always eager to improve.

I've written quite a few stories in my life, all of which can be found on this site. I don't believe in charging for access to my writing, so everything I make is free of charge, now and forever.

The great majority of my stories will be based in the fictional world of Ahya, though I do have the occasional short story outside it. I have spent the last twenty years creating and maintaining Ahya, so there is a hoard of great tales that can be told.

I've noticed a lot of episodal books with short chapters that are successful lately. Maybe that's a route I could consider. Writing long chapters is fun for me, of course, but I'm starting to wonder if I couldn't do something short, and be able to upload 3-5 chapters a week. I wouldn't have to spend so much time planning prior to the chapter, so I could work faster. Maybe as a way to build up my reader count?

This warrants further thought.

I told my friend who is a writer as well, that he should do short stories since they take less time to edit and they can be a great way to gather fans and they arent only good for getting more fans but they can prepare you to make endings, meaningful arcs, better character development whether or not its MC or Side ones. A 100 or 50 chapter story, if it can be well managed and follows a good pre plan, will be at the minimum a good story to spend your time on, even if its short. Thats my opinion.

So... as I went to upload Chapter 7 today, I noticed that I'd accidentally uploaded Chapter 5 twice :(

My apologies for this. I've fixed it (chapter 6 and 7 coming out today, with 8 tomorrow).

Thanks for reading Tome of the Body! I hope to hear what you all think of it soon!
