I really recommend if you first tone done the progression of your story first! Your skipping a lot of world building and backgrounds! Instead I suggest finishing one Canon or story progression of one dimension first before moving to another dimensions!
In the later chapters after the time-skip, when he will become a high-schooler, I will do the world building
