I'm posting my progress on my Ko-Fi page, to give myself some encouragement and record my accomplishments without spamming here. If anybody is actually interested in seeing how much progress I'm making each day, you can view my posts here: https://ko-fi.com/mossplains
I thought it would be difficult to reach the word count goal of 3000 words. Now that I'm back to writing I'm having so much fun that I'v blown way past it. Chapter 11 is already 5000 words and only about 60% of the planned events for the chapter have been written. I'm just enjoying the details of what's happening. I hope it won't end up being tedious for the readers.
After almost 4 months of being unable to write, this week I managed to finally write about 800 words so far, so I'm hopeful of making a comeback. I think I'll do a mass release for the remaining 3 chapters when they are all ready.
For personal reasons I really wasn't in the mood for writing romance this week. I wrote about 30% and I guess I'll publish it when it's ready. I'm tired of making promises that I end up not keeping. I can only hope to have it published by the end of next week.
I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to publish chapter 10 today, as my progress on writing it is only at 39%. On the positive side at least I'm getting it done faster than last time so I don't expect any problem getting it done for next week.
Sleeping properly makes a huge difference. My progress on writing chapter 9 is now 72.1%. If I can keep it up over the next day or two then I should be able to easily get the chapter done for this week. I sure I hope I do. When I'm well-rested words flow out like a stream, while when I'm tired each word feels like squeezing water out of a rock.
Unfortunately due to real life issues I can't commit to a release schedule. I will try to release new chapters as regularly as possible, with Thursday as the release day, but it may be that I will only release 1 chapter a week or even only once every 2 weeks. In any case, the story is short and is approaching the ending.
